The genres I teach are: Classical music, Jazz, Blues, Pop Rock and Metal.

I have been playing guitar for 12 or so years, with an emphasis on playing rock, metal, and progressive styles of music. Within lessons I like to tailor the curriculum to the student based on their past experience and ultimate goals. This can be anything from theory, to learning solos and licks, to learning full songs. I want students to have fun learning guitar, and I want to help find what that means to you.

As a pro guitarist, I’ve worked with groups in all genres, from funk to jazz to metal. My goal as a teacher is to help you find your own voice on the instrument, while putting an emphasis on learning proper technique and music theory. Whether you want to play along to your favorite songs, or become a rock star, I’d love to help you meet your goals.
