Cello Lessons in Oakville. Amazing Teachers.

The student will be instructed on the basics of proper playing techniques, music theory, and musicianship. They will learn to read music and also play by ear which will make them a well rounded player.

Beginner cello instruction based on custom curriculum. Usually after 2-3 hours of active instructions, most students are able to play simple melodies.

In my lessons, I plan to develop a connection to my students, allow for room to grow and improve as cellists, and to elicit proper playing/performing techniques. Lessons are individualized for every student, as students aren't all equal.

My name is Jerry. I LOVE music and passing my knowledge on to others. I have played many different instruments in many different kinds of bands. It all one major thing in common, it was FUN! If you are not having fun while learning an instrument you won't want to learn. Lessons can be fun AND educational at the same time. I have had many parents tell me I'm one of the best teachers they have ever seen. (A couple of them were public school teachers themselves). I truly want my students to succeed and I will do everything in my power to help them accomplish that!

Experienced Music teacher of 8 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of their instrument and theory skills. I specialize in all styles. Typically, I use a variety of method books to pick from to meet the needs of the students. I also have many tools available to use during lessons.
My students have gone on to NYSSMA and on to college auditions successfully!

I've played cello for twenty years now, and I've been playing professionally for the past seven years. I've played the cello for traditional orchestras, Baroque ensembles, rock and pop bands, singers, and songwriters. This experience includes live performances and recording sessions.

I attended three different universities as I earned my Bachelor of Music degree. Getting the perspective of multiple professors has enriched my education and made me a better cellist.
