In 2018 my family had the wonderful opportunity to relocate to the island of Maui where I took a position as a letter carrier with USPS. Now that I'm settled, I'm excited to get back to teaching cello. I have 4 years of public school instruction teaching 5th-12th grade orchestra and 7 years of private instruction on cello. I have played cello for the University of Evansville, the University of Findlay, the University of Southern Indiana, Heidelberg University, The Firelands Symphony, The Bowling Green Symphony, and the Croswell Opera House. I have a relaxed, realistic teaching style that is student-centered and rooted in Suzuki's Every Child Can philosophy. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, Cum Laude, from Eastern Michigan University and have completed training on Suzuki Cello Books 1 & 2.
