A typical Miss Kirk music lesson is unique because it includes movement, acting, drama, music theory, stage presence practice, singing and fun! I tailor each lesson specifically to the student. When students feel a sense of joy and excitement then learning and expertise follow.

As a public school music teacher, I believe in educating the student as a whole learner. I believe music education helps us learn not only what can be seen, such as music notation, but also what can only be felt. I believe music and the arts connect us to one another and our deepest, truest selves. I believe in music education because it helps the student recognize beauty in the world. I believe music has the power to help and heal oneself at any age. I teach music so that the world we live in becomes a more peaceful and loving place for us to live in solidarity with one another. Let me help you in this journey!

Sara (Dynamic Music Director)
Brittany taught voice lessons with Dynamic Music LLC in Chicago for over a year, and she was adored by her students! She gave each of her students and their lesson programs individualized care and brought beginning singers to the next level quickly, by using kindness, creativity, and great expertise!
Dan
Brittany came to our home and was prompt and courteous. She gave me voice and piano lessons and she also gave piano lessons to all three of our children.

Brittany was very knowledgeable and her teaching technique made it easy for me to quickly pick up the concepts and improve rapidly.

She was good with the children and all three of them looked forward to their time with Brittany learning to play piano.

We miss Brittany since moving out of the area and wish we could have continued our lessons.

I studied piano with Brittany for over a year when she lived in Chicago. She was a wonderful teacher who was both encouraging and on point with criticism about areas where I needed to improve. She was also a great resource for theory and voice. It was also a great experience to see her bring voice lessons or examples of her singing to the lessons. `

I would give Rebecca 10 stars if I could. My daughter has been taking piano lessons with her for more than a year and she absolutely loves her! Rebecca is kind, encouraging, patient and a wonderful teacher. I cannot recommend her enough.
Stella W.
Stella was so excited for her lesson with Rebecca, she can't wait for the next one...she loved it!
Amina
The first session was great. Rebecca was warm, kind and natural. She wanted to form a solid foundation by asking my daughter about her interest, what she wanted to learn, the artist she likes and let her sing to have an understanding of her vocal skills. We are excited to work with Rebecca as my daughter loved her. Totally recommend her to both kids and adults.

Lessons will consist of a warm up and repertoire work! I am a firm believer of a strong foundation for singing, meaning creating a good breath support system, working on consistency in the voice, and doing what makes each singer comfortable. I want everyone to truly enjoy what they sing, and so choosing repertoire will be a very collaborative process! My main goal is for growth in the singer, as a person and as a musician. For more information, give me a call, shoot me an email, or even a text. I look forward to working with you!

"On behalf of my son who is 15. Before finding Asuka, Lukas had taken voice lessons from several very good teachers (between breaks we would experiment with teachers).
Now with Asuka he feels most comfortable and feels he learns more per lesson with Asuka. More progress with all aspects of voice. She helps prepare for auditions with Broadway vocals and advance on the more serious and challenging Opera selections.
So the actual lessons are great and Asuka is also a charm; engaging and personable. As the parent I very much like she remains a professional singer as her career.
So we are staying with Asuka through the breaks and may even extend into piano lessons as well.
I would recommend Asuka without hesitation."

Desiree Soteres is the perfect vocal teacher for students of all ages. She is has an excellent performance, as well as academic, background. She is patient and knows how to draw the best out of her students.

8 Beautiful Opera Arias for Beginner Singers

It is always exciting when a vocal student is ready to start studying his or her first operatic aria! One of the best things about being a classical singer is knowing you have so many great years ahead of you. After all, you’re considered in your prime in your 40s. That being said, realize that the voice you have now and the repertoire you’ll first study will be very, very different from what you sing later on in your career. It’s absolutely crucial that you sing repertoire that is …
