Pattern Making Basics

I'm writing a review of Olivia's webinar on sewing machine basics. I love the way she introduced the topic, systematically and succinctly explaining each of the main machine features and its function/s and application/s to different sewing projects. She was great in demonstrating the threading of the machine, although some parts were not as clearly visible as I'd like them to be, but overall, you get the drift because she explained her points so well. Also particularly appreciated her demonstration on sewing/turning around corners. She generously offered practical tips that were really helpful to know. And the reason why I viewed her video was due to our time zone difference and also for the fact that I could (and I did) re-play parts of the video that I hadn't quite caught the first time. I did proceed subsequently to check if she was accepting students and realized she wasn't, at least, not at that point in time. Anyhow, though, thank you, Olivia, for such a well-made video tutorial to introduce newbies to the fundamentals of a sewing machine!

She really customize the lesson to meet your skill level and needs. I’m so glad I signed up for classes.
