Her demos are great and she simplifies the math! It took Patty 4 nano seconds, watching me knit, to figure out why my gauge was off! I am so grateful! I am no longer making garments large enough to cover a car!"
Marlisa was a great match for us due to her interest in Waldorf and working with children. She brought samples of her handmade dolls to inspire us and easily set up my machine and got me comfortable with the basics. She explained clearly and made sure I tried everything so I would remember.
We didn't do any projects yet but it was a worthwhile investment to get us comfortable with the machine. I can't say how wonderful it was to have her come to my own home and work with us in such a relaxed fashion making it possible to learn this new skill in this hectic world without dragging everyone to another "lesson". Next week I will ask her to focus on teaching my 8 year old. Thanks Take Lessons for this helpful service! Marlisa is great!"
She is hands down the best knitting teacher I've ever seen."
And they're not alone!
