Mark W. Snellville, GA

About Mark T

I have been playing since I was 4 years old and have been loving every minute of it. I have been fortunate to play and tour with many groups here in the US and in Europe. Over the years I have really enjoyed passing on my knowledge and love of music making to others. I would be honored if you gave me the opportunity to help your or your family achieve their musical dreams. *** Lesson Details *** First and foremost I am very laid back and that helps my students relax into the process of making great music. Expect your first lesson to be about getting to know each other and getting a firm idea of what your expectations are. Everyone learns at a different pace and has changing interests. Within the framework of moving you towards your musical goals I create custom goals and ...

Fantastic Teacher!

Mark Williams's violin teaching is very experienced and professional. He helped prepare my daughter for her county orchestra audition, and she made it! My daughter enjoys the pieces assigned, and his constructive feedback has allowed her to fix bowing technique and other problems. Each lesson is focused on improving and learning new and old skills. His teaching has made my daughter a better violinist! The schedule is also flexible to fit all my daughter's activities. If you are looking for an excellent violin teacher, Mark Williams is the one!

Excited about learning more!!!

Mark is an excellent teacher. He helped me correct my stand and holding the violin and hand position which has me playing much better. We had to back up to the basics but that will help me be a better violinist. He also has been flexiable about changing dates and time to fit my needs. I recommend him to anyone!

Truly Passionate / Dedicated Teacher

I have been taking online lessons with Aimee for about three months now. Aimee is a knowledgeable, passionate, patient, and dedicated teacher. She really cares about her students and genuinely wants them to improve. Perhaps most importantly, she caters her approach to your interests and always asks if her recommendations fit with what you are looking to do. This is possible because Aimee is multi-talented and has a deep understanding of all genres of music. At the same time, Aimee focuses on the small details that make a big difference, never missing out on an opportunity to teach and help her students improve. I would without hesitation recommend Aimee as a music teacher. You will not be disappointed!

Graduated from Georgia Southern in 2001, with a bachelor degree in music education. Have worked for Atlanta public schools as a band director since Fall 2002. Private lessons are taught on piano, guitar, and all the band instruments. I also have a deep passion for Disc jockeying with a bias towards reggae and dance music. *** Lesson Details *** Students can except a stress free learning process. After mastering these basic concepts in music the children will then be given a chance to perform their songs to an instrumental accompaniment. This is good for the student who does not play in an ensemble to

Lesley D. Covington, GA

About Lesley

UNOFFICIAL BIO: As long as I can remember, I have played music in one form or the other. I think I started singing before I could actually talk. By the age of 5 I had my first guitar and piano. By then I knew music would be a huge part of my life. It is my favorite language. It is universal. I love to teach those just starting out in music...especially children. Tapping in on a child's natural talent for the first time is an amazing thing to witness. OFFICIAL BIO: Lesley is a singer/songwriter based out of Atlanta, GA. She hit the music scene in the early 80's in Miami, Fl. and signed on with TCA management in the 90's where she toured with the company's other two bands, Marilyn Manson and The Mavericks (yes, what an eclectic combination!) ...

Ginger T. Lilburn, GA

About Ginger

I have been teaching music to young people since 1987. I began as an elementary music specialist and taught in public schools for thirteen years. After starting my family, I began to teach part time as a Preschool music and movement teacher and private piano instructor. I now have fourteen years experience in this field. In the fall of 2013 I added a group keyboard class to my schedule for young beginners. This experience has given me firm footing for approaching music students of all ages. Students respond positively to the excitement and beauty of making music. During every piano lesson I aim to help the student play musically and beautifully. We listen to different styles of music and use expressive technique to recreate that style. My piano studies began in the first-grade.

She makes piano fun!

My children love that they have lots of choices as to which songs they play. They are gently challenged and always encouraged. The recitals are thoughtfully put together and are enjoyed by all!

Patient and encouraging

My son has been taking piano lessons with Ginger for a year and a half starting at age 8. Playing an instrument was quite different from anything my son had tried before. He can get frustrated when things don't come easily. But Ginger is patient and makes sure to pace his lessons accordingly, sometimes giving him another week on a piece to gain more confidence. Ginger was also my son's preschool music teacher, so I've seen her in action with a group of very young children and know that anyone that can put together a preschool music program is a primo teacher!
