nuances he brings to the table are always innovative and yet compliment the work. Thank you, Seth, for such a positive experience!!!"

"My daughter, M.J, began voice lessons in August 2014 and I'm amazed at the progress she's made in such a short time! Here is what M.J has to say about le
ssons with Stacey:
"Stacy is SOOOOO AMAZING!!!! She has helped me not only with my singing, but with my confidence and my life. Her cats always cheer me up after a rough day at school. She has improved my singing so much that I actually tried out for the Wizard of Oz. I wasn't going to at first, but she helped me learn somewhere over the rainbow, and made me more confident to try out. She is an amazing singer herself and not only the best singer I know, but a great friend to me. I go to her for thirty minutes on Wednesday and that is definitely the highlight of the week! I always can't wait to sing with her and talk with her. If you are looking for the best voice teacher in the world, I highly recommend Stacey!""

Sophia has given me a solid foundation to work from and return to. I highly recommend her to anyone interested in singing with precision and passion."

Lillian is patient, kind, positive, and careful to combine theory with practical teaching. As an older student, just learning piano, I learned more from her in one lesson than the five lessons I took before. She is excellent. I have hope now that I can learn piano.

Lillian has been a very patient, understanding instructor for this older student who could no longer read notes. She makes learning to play again a fun lesson each time.

Lillian is a fantastic piano teacher! She is so sweet and patient with my five-year-old and praises her during the entire lesson. My daughter leaves feeling very proud of what she learned and excited to practice what Ms. Lillian taught her. I highly recommend Lillian; she is a delightful teacher!!!

Great Voice Instructor!
I have been taking lessons with Susanna for close to 6 months and she has been a great teacher. I feel a lot more confident in my singing ability and I look forward to each lesson. I learn something new everytime. I am completely new to singing and she makes sure that you are comfortable in the environment and caters to your needs and what you would like to work on.

Great instructor. She actually shows interest in her students and I love that about her. I've learned so much after a short period of time.

The piano lesson is for my daughter Laetitia. I never stayed with her when she had her piano class so I can't make any comment on Susanna. So far my daughter is still interested on playing piano and she practice is every day with fun. Susanna told my husband that she will buy some new music book for her so I guess Laetitia really enjoy her piano class.

*** Lesson Details *** I begin each lesson with vocal exercises. Then we will move on to music theory, sight singing and musician ship. The last segment of our lesson will be devoted to repertoire study. To get the most out of lessons with me I recommend at least an hour of practice outside of lessons each week.
I use a variety of different song books for my students depending on their voice type, age and preferred genre of study. After 6 months with me students can expect to understand basic singing technique and be seeing a significant change in their sound. Students who choose to incorporate musicianship/theory/sight singing into lessons with me can expect, at minimum, to understand how to read music, basic music notation, note names, key signatures, time signatures, rhythm, solfege syllables, major and minor scales, and basic harmonic relationships.
Singing is a physical and full-bodied experience, so be ready to move and be silly with me sometimes. The voice is different than any other instrument because we don'Ât have strings, buttons, or valves to press to help us achieve the right sound. Our instrument is inside our bodies. The voice is a very complicated instrument, and thus, in my opinion, is much more rewarding than many other instruments to master. Please come to my lessons planning to work hard and have fun!
*** Studio Equipment *** Keyboard repertoire books, and seating for parents or other respectful observers
*** Travel Equipment *** I expect my student to be able to provide a piano or weighted keyboard with a bench for me. I provide a mirror, music, and a CD player if necessary.
*** Specialties *** I specialize in classical voice training and believe this style of singing to be an imperative source of proper singing and breathing technique that can be used to train singers of all genres.

Lindsey is an encouraging, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and talented singing teacher and performer! Before Lindsey relocated to Texas, I took lessons with her for about 10 months. I always loved singing, but I never took any private lessons until I discovered Lindsey on takelessons. After a few months learning from Lindsey, I was able to widen my range, correct my breathing techniques, and learn the fundamentals of harmony and sight singing. Lindsey’s lessons were always fun and informative. She also gave me the confidence to audition for a Vocal Ensemble. After several weeks of audition preparation with Lindsey, I surprisingly made it into the group! If you are looking for a fun and educated singing teacher, Lindsey is for you!

I take vocal training for my two children and I must say that K'Shae is brilliant. She is not just a teacher, but very attentive and gets the best out of my children. She has received many vocal accomplishments and is a good teacher to take training under. Her passion and enthusiasm towards music is very visible. Her lessons are not just for money and rather a service.
My kids are doing very well and they have achieved correct vocal techniques. Best music teacher we have had.

What a great person!
Kiki is not just a singing teacher she is a wonderful person. We noticed her love for music since our very first meeting when we contacted her for our extremely shy, 10-year-old daughter. Her attitude is simply amazing and she has been able to create a friendly relationship with our daughter, who now is eager to attend her lessons. Kiki has helped our girl a lot, not only from a “vocal” point of view but also gave her a lot more self-confidence. So glad we met this angel.

My name is David and I'm a professional musician who just moved to North Austin. I came from Cincinnati, where I went to the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, taught dozens of students at all levels and played regular gigs every weekend. I have been teaching for over fifteen years, and I'm looking to get a few new students. I teach guitar, piano, bass guitar and even upright bass. If it's a tutor you are looking for I can also teach music theory and appreciation. I have a knack for teaching young people, probably because I was young when I started my musical journey. I'
ve been very successful at inspiring a student's love of music and instilling the patience required to take on the challenge of playing an instrument. The first thing I like to do is get to know you, the music you enjoy and your goals. In a way, I like to begin by letting the student lead. In addition to learning from you, I intend to present you with new information, to try and broaden your musical tastes and teach you how to be an active listener.

David L. Was highly recommended to us by multiple people. He taught my two daughters piano for 1 1/2 years before we said a tearful goodbye as he moved to Texas. David L has a perfectly magical way in communicating to young students. He always spoke positively and found something good to say about any piece they played. He would then very positively guide them towards the correct way of playing. My shy, nervous girls thrived. It is truly going to be a challenge finding his replacement, David L. is an amazing person and teacher.

Bass Guitar ·
After signing up for lessons with David L. I knew I made the right choice. Just after a couple of weeks I didn't see him as a teacher but as a best friend. There was always a relaxed atmosphere during the lessons. He was very easy to talk to and he really listen to you. If I ever had a question he would answer. He tailors to what ever you want to do in that lesson. David L. is a great teacher and a friend. I totally recommend him for anyone

Acoustic Guitar ·
David is not only a great musician and educator but also a delightful human. We began using David six years ago as a piano teacher for my two boys. Since then my eldest moved on to acoustic and electric guitar and my youngest electric and stand up bass. Somewhere along the way I began to take guitar lessons also (I was David's most bearded student at age 48). David always came prepared to lead but also to follow, he often asked what we were listening to and taught us how to play it. His ability to listen to a piece of music and transcribe it always left me amazed, we have several notebooks full of songs we learned individually or played as a group. After a shoulder injury David continued to impress by teaching me music theory instead of our usual lesson. I could go on forever, David made a positive impact on my family and feel fortunate to have met him.
