You want to play music that means something to you. The music that moves you. I’m pretty sure it’s not Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.
I promise you, no stifling method books with hokey songs and no rote practice of scales with no end in site.
We'll pick a song you want to learn.
I’ll identify the techniques you need to play it and provide you with skill building exercises. We’ll look at the structure of the song and anything else to help you learn it. If the song requires advanced techniques, I’ll break it down into what you can do now; we’ll use the remainder to guide your development.
Although you’ll follow a logical progression of skill building, I believe learning in the context of songs the student knows and enjoys is the best approach for teens and adults.

It can be very daunting and frustrating trying to learn something new and having no one to clarify the subject for you or no where to turn for questions. As a intermediate/advanced guitar player I am here to help! I am currently 23 years old and have been playing guitar for a little over 9 years. I am a self-taught guitarist and have taken some music theory courses in college. I have never taught lessons professionally but I can definitely teach you all I have learned from, general chords to fretting technique to basic leads and fingerstyle picking to rhythm/strumming and harmonics! I love playing a little bit of all genres. I am a very jovial and laid back person and I especially enjoy working with beginners and children as I know how stressful it can be learning to play an ...
