I am a patient teacher who carefully works with each student to help him or her achieve his or her individual goals, whether the objective is to become a professional musician or to learn for fun and personal enjoyment.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, and sharing the stage with the likes of Bob Mintzer and Gilbert Castellanos, trumpet playing is my biggest passion. Our lessons will be focused, yet relaxed; challenging but always fun and full of exciting challenges. My playing and teaching experiences have helped me understand what it takes to reach that "next level" of trumpet playing, whether it involves range, technique, or musical performance. I hope we can make some great music together soon!

I teach you how to read, play, and transpose the music. I also work on techniques necessary for good tone and breathe control. We also work on Theory so you understand what is in the music that you are reading.

As a part of my music education certification, I am trained to teach beginner levels in all brass instruments.

I am experienced in trumpet, french horn, trombone, bass trombone, and piano, trumpet being my main instrument, been playing for approximately over 25 years. I have an Associate degree in Music education. I have also composition, arrangement, and written my own trumpet book.
I have self-taught myself to sing alto, guitar, handbells, organ, and percussion for approximately 15 years. I start learning music off and on from the age of 10. I started on piano and off I went from piano to trumpet. An along the way I pick up the guitar, voice, percussion, handbells, trombone, and french horn. I love learning and teaching music to others.

I teach absolute beginners, intermediate and advanced students. I work with them on technique, strong fundamentals, sound production and the repertoire of band and orchestra music.
