First thing she did was to make sure I had proper form, breathing and technique before moving on to more advanced topics. This way bad habits are removed quickly, which is crucial to push through to the next level and break vocal plateaus.
I would recommend Jen as a vocal teacher for any style and age without hesitation. Great person to talk to, knowledgeable, and most of all fun. There are times when it gets frustrating, but working with Jen makes it a challenge and rewarding when you can hear yourself getting better.
