St. John’s University male graduate with extensive tutoring experience available to tutor students from elementary school to exam takers and working professionals.
I was a Presidential Scholar at St. John’s University where I attended on a full academic scholarship with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. I am friendly, energetic, results-oriented and I enjoy teaching students of all ages. I excel at motivating students and helping them to reach their goals. It's important to me that I listen to each client to hear about their goals and desires, or if a parent - for their child’s academic growth. When I was 9, I won a Mother's Day poem-writing contest. My first thought: "I can't believe no one else entered."
Several decades later, I *still* don't know if that's why I won, but now that I'm the published author of 80+ books for children, I do know this: writing creatively is an adventure.
It's also a must. If you are going to write at all, write with flair! (You would eat a bowl of ice cream as is, but if offered a topping, wouldn't you take it?) It makes the experience more delicious for the reader, but also for YOU, the writer. The entertainer!
This is not your typical writing session. High impact. Low stress. I make it fun and funny. My writing challenges are unlike any you've done. If you're an avid writer, this is for you. If you're a reluctant writer, same! I've worked with all kinds of kids.
Each session will involve lively discussion and mind-blowing tips...you won't want it to end. So let's get started!
About Marc
When I was your age, my parents forced me to take judo. And guitar. And computing programming. And writing. But before I tried those activities, I did not know which I would like. I thought I would like guitar, but I didn't. I did not think I would like writing THAT much, but I did.
