Teresa was awesome! She worked with me and my limited flexibility and really set me up for success with exercises to integrate into my routine. She was also very cognizant of a prior injury and presented long term alternate solutions to tissue regrowth. I really look forward to working with her again!

She was really great, we have only had one lesson so far but she made me feel very comfortable and I feel like she will be perfect for me helping me get over my stage fright. She came up with quite a few ideas up front and can tell she is taking it seriously, which makes me even more confident in her because it is such a serious issue for me. I am looking forward to working with her.

I have been sewing for 25 years (Since I was 7). I can teach you anything you want to know from basic beginner sewing to the most advanced techniques. I can also show you how to draft your own patterns (including children's and menswear).

How to use speciality machine feet to make sewing straight much easier.

I have both regular machines and sergers in my studio and can teach you how to sew both non-stretch and stretch fabrics.

About Anne
I am available to teach Sewing, Pattern Making and Fashion Design lessons from my home studio in Broomfield.

I have been sewing since I was 7 years old and while I do know how to use a sewing pattern I prefer to make my own, I always have.

I have a degree in Pattern Making, Fashion Design, and Product Development. Adding a lot of standard technique to my own methods.

In sewing, I can teach you anything from the simplest basics to how to sew stretch fabrics, and much more.

In Fashion Design I can teach you the basics of fashion drawing and show you how to translate those designs into patterns that you can sew together.

My goal as a teacher is to help you achieve your goals. I know that we all learn at a different pace.

Anne is a great sewing instructor. I was able to understand how to use a sewing machine and am more comfortable using one. The pillow case project I worked on was a fun project to do. The easiest way to learn how to sew is by doing it and practicing. It's definitely easier learning how to sew with the teacher next to you and answering your questions. I highly recommend Anne as a sewing instructor.

The way that I teach is to help the student develop their own style. My first goal is to give my students all of the tools they need to feel confident from the very first lesson. We start with the fundamentals of hand-sewing and make our way up, all this with a mixture of fun, listenting and patience.

About Alexandra
I love learning and teaching languages and although I studied law I really prefer teaching languages (I speak 5 languages) and sewing (another of my favourite hobbies) love travelling and photography.

I will be happy to answer the questions which arise in between your one-on-one lessons. In short, I will do everything I can to increase your rate of language acquisition.

It goes without saying that I love to teach! I have an easy-going personality and a positive attitude. Learning such a beautiful and multifaceted language as Spanish or Romanian will be fun with me. I love travelling, I have hosted many exchange students, so I have developed good communication and creativity skills.

I will encourage your interest and curiosity into the different cultures by using amusing topics during the session, which will automatically imp
rove your experience.

I am able to communicate with students at a very personal level . I am very passionate and enthusiastic to get them to learn. I will also promote study habits.

I have a lot of nice material and is interested in what people have to say and their needs. I am friendly and kind; I try to correct students making sure they don't feel embarrassed. I makes people feel comfortable, and encourages them to participate and learn, -even the shy ones. I enjoy the class as much as you.

My expertise in sewing always inspires creativity and passion within students, and the ease with which i guide them to explore their own creativity bring fun to the lessons. Having over 25 years of custom couture tailoring and teaching has given me a vast experience in order for me to equip any student with the requisite knowledge needed to tackle any sewing project.

About Kodjo
Most people simply call me Joe. I have a bachelors in Fine Art, an MBA and been making clothes for my clients for over 25 years. I taught many people sewing and they've gone ahead to tackle various projects on their own to their own disbelief. Creativity comes to me naturally and with a background in figure drawing and painting, my knowledge of anatomy of the human figure helps a lot in translating it into designs for all figure types and sizes. I have handled many interior design projects also, so all these experiences equip me with immense knowledge to transfer to those who want to learn all about sewing, whether as a beginner, an intermediary or advanced student.

I have been sewing since 1979 and embroidering since 1985. I am experienced in all forms of sewing, alterations, applique and embroidery. I can teach simple things like hemming pants, making garments to making products to sale. With technology today, sewing is easy because of the advanced sewing machine but you still have to know the basic such as: knowing your sewing machine, how to cut out a pattern, mark it and size it, how to pick the correct fabric for your project, how to cut the fabric on the bias and fold, how to mark fabric for hemming, darts and seam allowance. If you are doing it for personal reasons or as a business, I can help you.

About Jacquilin
Hello future seamstress, I started sewing in high school over 40 years ago and I still sew everyday. I love thinking, creating and designing for the WOW factor. I will show how something a simple as trim, buttons, mix and matching fabric, adding applique or embroidery and so much more can change the entire look of your project. with my passion and your desire to learn, you will advance from a beginner to the next step. I owned a daycare for 14 years so I am use to working patiently, repeating myself and go over the instructions until you get. My success as a teacher depends on you and how well you learn. We will be a team and I believe in winning. Let's get ready set and SEW!!!!

Learn how to sew clothing that fit you and your style! Learning how to sew can be complicated. Starting from Beginning level to advance level. I will teach you how to understand and use a pattern. Along with constructing PJ pants, sewing terminology and more. As you move up each level, you'll continue to learn more sewing techniques while creating pant/skirt, button down shirt and tailored blazer.

About Margaret
Hello sewers!
My experience in sewing goes way back. I tell my students I've been sewing for 100 years! I started sewing when I was 10 years old. I continue learning throughout high school into college. I also went to school for fashion design in Paris, France. I've designed my own line and was in a few stores. But I realized that teaching the beautiful art was what I was placed on this earth to do. I've been teaching now for 11 years. Six of those years, I have done in my own location. I enjoy teaching youth to adults. I think the best part is the expression on their face when they complete their garment. Priceless!
