With a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, I have taught basic engineering at UC-Berkeley as a graduate student. Materials Science requires strong math and algebra background. I also taught basic engineering in the Gifted Youth Program at Stanford University. Math doesn't need to be hard, you can understand it and even have fun with it! Math is my favorite subject and one that I have been tutoring for several years.
