Every student has unique needs. Any student will succeed if the instruction is tailored to their learning processes. Since every student learns in a different fashion, it is necessary to use both traditional methodology and Suzuki methodology while teaching. Each student is placed in the program and course that best suits their learning needs. I expect my students to attend the lesson every week, complete all assignments, and listen to directions.

About Eleonora

I chose Eleonora as my 11-year-old daughter's harp instructor, and we've been really pleased and enriched by the experience. Early on, my daughter experienced an affinity for this instrument, and I've been very impressed by Eleonora's technique and teaching style and how she helps cultivate my daughter's organic joy and interest in this beautiful instrument. Eleonora is excellent with children, explaining music ideas in a way a child can understand, digest, and incorporate. She meets my daughter where ever is needed and has a great sense for this. When my daughter was learning something new, she told Eleonora, "This is hard." Eleonora responded casually and authoritatively: "There is no hard, only new." This, and the emphasis on practice, really eased my daughter who likes to get everything right the first time and needs this kind of reframing and encouragement when experiencing a new challenge. As an artist myself, I really appreciate this approach and philosophy, but most importantly, I can see my daughter does, too. Whether you're an adult learning for the first time or you have a child who has interest, let your musical lives be enriched by this patient, knowledgeable instructor.

I’ve been one of Eleonora’s first students and I’ve studied harp with her for 4 years. It has been very rewarding.
I was always looking forward to her lessons: she inspired us to practice for competitions and she always encouraged me to play in front of an audience, giving the very best of my self.
Playing the harp has always been a great joy for me thanks to her lessons.

Eleonora Pellegrini is a great professional!
She has been my daughter’s harp teacher for two years: she’s very talented! She’s a special person, she is very skilled both playing and teaching the harp.
She changed my daughter’s life, who know has an excellent knowledge of music basics.

I’ve been classicslly trained in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, one of the best places in the world where one can learn how to be a musician. Since then I’ve learned how to love and play jazz, pop, and rock, as well as how to sing, compose and understand the principles of composition and music theory. I graduated from Conservatory in Almaty and Berklee College in Boston and I’m pursuing Master of Arts, while teaching and performing in Boston area. Teaching experience is as fascinating as piano performance and yet, is more challenging at times. My focus is to make sure my students understand what they do and why they do it in music and seeing them grow is one of the greatest feelings I’ve had.

About Alya

Hello everyone! My name is Alya Izumchensky, I was born and raised in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, where I started my piano lessons. I was a very competitive classical pianist in my teenage years in Russia, and have won many regional and national competitions. My favorite composers always were Chopin

Alya is an absolute treasure and we are so happy to have found her!  In addition to being an amazing pianist, Alya has been an insightful and inspirational accompanist for my teenage daughter who plays violin. Alya helped her prepare for several competitions and her feedback and guidance greatly contributed to my daughter's strong performance at those competitions. Alya is also a person of integrity, intestinal fortitude and enormous grit. Just hours before one of my daughter's competitions, she severely injured one of her fingers in a scooter accident but instead of allowing us take her to the hospital, she insisted on playing at the competition with my daughter first! Here is a pianist who injured the most critical tool of her profession, and instead of tending to that, put others first!  In today’s world, these type of people are extremely rare and should be revered. We feel blessed to have met Alya and would strongly recommend her for anyone looking for a talented and caring piano teacher or accompanist!

"Scott is one of the best teachers I've come in contact with.

He is great with people! He really goes into the need for knowing basics if you're going to do well at any of the playing styles. It makes it so much easier to play just about anything, instead of having to start from scratch to learn every individual style of music there is, which is really important when you're doing recording like I am. He's also great in encouraging individual creativity in playing, and not just staying "inside the box." That really makes a person stand out from everyone else, which is what needs to happen if you're going to be noticed and be successful."

"What a difference a few lessons can make

Our daughter is in middle school and is playing in a band with about 20 other clarinets. At the first testing, she was seated in the middle of the pack. When she asked to take music lessons, we looked online and found Mikaela. Within a few lessons, Mikaela was able to find small things that made a huge difference. Now not only is our daughter playing better but has a lot more confidence with the clarinet as well.

Mikaela is very personable and patient. She really seems to care about our daughter and makes the lessons enjoyable. Not sure that we could have found a better instructor for our daughter!"

"Mr. Gallo is a wonderful instructor. I started taking lessons with him in 7th grade, and even now that I'm in college I try to take lessons with him whenever the opportunity presents itself. He caters each lesson specifically to what the individual student needs and would benefit from, rather than attempting to force one instructional path on his students. He is very flexible and willing to work around each student's schedule to figure out when lessons would best fit into the week. He is patient and very friendly; definitely someone easy to work with. You won't get better lessons for a better price."

Very patient, very fun. I think I will have to get him and his family up to my place for a cookout and roller coasters (I live near cedar point, the roller coaster capital of the world). We will definitely become friends. Great guy! Great teacher! This will be fun!"
