"I took an 8 week course taught by Jan called Acting for Singers. She was incredibly helpful in teaching me how to perform as a singer/songwriter. She has
a wealth of knowledge from her years of teaching and performing and was able to teach us exercises to help us perform on stage and convey the message of our song effectively. I definitely had to get out of comfort zone for some of the exercises but they changed my performance style immediately. She created a very safe environment for us to learn and told us from the outset that it was okay to make mistakes and not have everything be perfect. I was stretched every week I attended the class, but it gave me the confidence I needed to continue to push myself to perform.
I am so grateful for coming across Jan and would recommend her to anyone seeking to become more confident as a performer. She will help you tremendously."

"Omar taught me how to play the guitar in 2007 when I was 15 years old. I didn't know ANYTHING about playing the guitar. I was so bad, I used to tune my st
rings down to the same note. Omar laid down the foundation that I needed to follow in order to play good music. The cool thing about him is that he dissects and breaks down every note in ways you can understand. He also has a good attitude and makes learning really fun. Now, 7 years later, I can be able to make my guitar sing! I also played in numerous bands since then. In the 4-5 months he taught me, he really set down the foundation of what I needed to do to pursue my playing. Schedule a lesson with him and you will see what I am talking about!"

"I was really not sure how online music lessons work at first, but right after my 13-yr-old first practice, this concern disappeared. Gary immidiately pick
ed up his level and everything went so good. Now my son is very excited for this new style of lessons and asked me to get new textbooks that he was recommended and looked so thrilled. Gary is such an amazing teacher!"

"Matthew has been a great Guitar teacher for me and my 8 year old son. He is a talented musician and it's a privilege to have him as our teacher. I would r
ecommend him to anyone who is thinking about learning the guitar."
I teach Pop, rock, blues, and metal. I was taught for about 10 years on acoustic/electric and have had 5years doing private vocal lessons. After that I started teaching myself Guitar, Bass, and piano. I started playing for about five years touring and have taught in churches and learning centers. I also have a band and play lead guitar at a venue every Saturday night. I benefit from teaching when I see the student gets it and the accomplishment is what makes me speechless to the impact I have made or whatever impact there is to come! Also, feel free to check out my band at www.deardestinymusic
*** Lesson Details *** Students cant expect a laid back atmosphere with zero pressure. Learning guitar, like any other hobby or anything you wish to learn, requires dedication and love for the craft. Anyone can play any instrument they put their mind to, all they have to do is love it and enjoy the feeling of making music.
The Curriculum I use is Mel Bay's Guitar Method. It's the book I used when I was first learning and it set a firm foundation on which I have learned to build on and improve.
*** Studio Equipment *** Digitech GNX 3000 Pedal board Line 6 UX2 Interface Schecter Damien Elite Solo 6 Ibanez S1170 Line 6 212 Kustom 412 Head and Half Stack
*** Travel Equipment *** A guitar, I expect the students to have a tuner or get a guitar in time.
*** Specialties *** I specialize in legato, alternate picking, sweep picking, economic picking and basically all methods of playing lead guitar. But I do start off by teaching acoustic and rhythm guitar

David is AWESOME!
David has been wonderfully patient and my son has learned to play so quickly. We could not have found a better teacher for my son to relate to. In the words of my son "he is AWESOME!".
Rob started playing the guitar at age 12 and was initially inspired to play by seeing one of his favorite bands, Metallica, live in concert. With that inspiration, Rob started taking lessons at a local music store where he learned the basic building blocks. He attended the National Guitar Workshop where he studied with guitar greats John Petrucci, Frank Gambale, and Scott Henderson. To further his music education, Rob attended Rhode Island College where he immersed himself in jazz and classical guitar studies. In addition to that, he has a B.S. in Digital Recording Arts. Rob has played in nume
rous bands over the years. He performs nationally and in several bands around Florida with venues ranging from Disney World to Margaritaville.
*** Lesson Details *** I am a guitarist who has been playing/performing for over 20 years.
I can teach you Rock, Metal, Blues, Funk and Country styles. I have played on many stages and studied music at the college level. You will soon be on the fast track to be a successful guitarist!
My guitar lessons are fun and personalized to YOU! You will also learn what you want to learn at your own pace!
*** Studio Equipment *** Amp and Guitars for students available.
*** Travel Equipment *** I can provide an acoustic guitar during the lesson.
*** Specialties *** I teach all styles. However, I specialize in rock guitar.

I truly dont think I could have picked a better instructor to begin to learn to play the guitar. Rob is very patient and does a great job. I am looking forward to the future lessons to come.
I was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and emigrated with my family to the United States, moving to Brooklyn in 1962 at the age of 9. I began my piano training in Brazil at the age of 7 and continued my studies in New York. I speak three languages fluently - English, Portuguese and Spanish.
After graduating high school, at the age of 17, I attended Hunter College briefly while continuing with piano lessons and had operatic training with a voice coach associated with the New York Metropolitan Opera. At this time, I also became a member of the Harry Belafonte Group,
touring the tri-state area schools as a singer in a musical history presentation highlighting African influence on Brazilian music.
While continuing piano lessons at the Long Island Conservatory of Music, I found my passion for teaching while still a student. During my early teaching career, I apprenticed with the conservatory's director, master teacher, composer and author of educational books, Sidney J. Lawrence. While shaping my philosophy of teaching, Mr. Lawrence became my mentor and friend. I taught 3-4 year olds in preschool music pedagogy classes while also teaching piano in a career that spans more than 30 years of working with children and adults at all levels.
I am able to adapt my teaching style to my students' unique way of thinking and communicate musical concepts in a way they can understand. I believe in not only teaching how to play the piano, but also the "language of music." This provides students with a holistic understanding that encompasses theory, technique, sight reading, basic composition, and performance, all while sharing my personal joy of music.
I now live in Clermont, FL after relocating from Georgia where I taught piano while also working as a part-time substitute teacher for the Gwinnett County Public Schools and an academics tutor for K-12 levels.
I feel that my high expectations for students encourages them to reach for the best of themselves, achieve the highest standards and carry their musical training into their future lives.

Although, we've only experienced one lesson, Ms. Rosely seems great. She reviewed her expectations and was very knowledgeable and friendly. She had our son on the piano within minutes. I look forward to moving forward with her.

Mrs. P is an amazing piano teacher, and great for any level of experience. I'm 20 years old and knew relatively nothing about the piano, but its already been a few weeks and I'm improving and having a lot of fun. She is super helpful beyond just the lessons as well, going as far as to message with students regularly to keep up with them, and discussing with them options for purchasing their own starting pianos and practicing on their own time.

Fernando is an innovative teacher! I find him fun, thoughtful and concerned with where one is with their feelings about music , ability to play, and what goals they have in mind. He allows the student to participate in their development but with a guiding hand. I recommend him to those that are ready to learn and listen from a new perspective .
