I'm a musician by trade, a music teacher by profession. Music is a great art form. I play a few instruments, but my main instrument is the guitar. Music performance is a fantastic form of fun which is part of playing a musical instrument - you must learn how to play a musical instrument before you can perform well with it. These two elements go hand in hand, and it is my desire to help my students understand this, and ultimately help them achieve this musical goal - playing a musical instrument well, and perform with it. I have been teaching since right out of high school some twenty-five years ago. My teaching career started at the college level where I had a privilege of tutoring college students computer software and hardware courses. My music teaching career started shortly after ...

Erika is a multi-instrumentalist on a mission - to share the power of music with as many people as possible! By 16, she was playing viola with the local symphony orchestra, accompanying collegiate vocalists, and teaching adults 20 years her senior.
