Stacey is a professional soprano known as an active performer in the Cincinnati area. Stacey has sung for 9 seasons with the Cincinnati Opera as a member of the core chorus and sings with Cincinnati's professional chamber choir the Vocal Arts Ensemble. She also sings with the North American New Opera Workshop. Stacey has studied piano from the age of 5 and is great for beginning or intermediate piano students. Stacey has taught students of all ages and with various musical styles. Her students have included professional ballet dancers with Broadway aspirations, an 8-year-old girl simply wanting to break out of her shyness, and high school students preparing for College auditions. My teaching is very classical and operatic because that is what I specialize in. I can teach you or your child from a simple pop song to preparing for an entrance audition. I can teach basic piano and incorporate basic theory and aural skills into my lessons.
Mrs. Candelaria-Pieve provides beginner-piano and voice lessons to students of all ages. Mrs. Candelaria-Pieve is completing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Voice Performance at CCM. She teaches a classical approach to vocal technique, which can be tailored to the preferred style of the student. Piano lessons follow recognized Piano Methods such as Alfred’s and Hal Leonard. Sporadic group seminars would be offered AT NO COST, should the students be interested in performing on a safe, small class environment.
Students will learn vocal technique as it applies to Operatic singing from a working professional in the field. In addition to technique there will be emphasis on the International Phonetic Alphabet for language learning and pronunciation as well as repertoire coaching for arias and art songs.
I offer voice lessons in a variety of styles from rock to classical. I teach a basic healthy technique that can be applied to any style of singing. I strive to make lessons challenging as well as fun. I also offer lessons in beginning piano.
