Corbin really knows it all! From Shakespeare to Musical Theatre, he really helped me prepare every single audition piece that I needed in my repertoire for college auditions. He creates a safe and comfortable environment to workshop pieces, dissect text, and perfect vocal techniques. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs to begin exploring a piece, or just needs another opinion on something in-the-works.

Tyler E.

Philadelphia, PA

Exploring the techniques of Kristin Linklater and the need to sing will serve as our focal point. Novice singers will be introduced to the mechanics of vocalization, while those who are more experienced will build on those foundations while diving into more advanced songs and musicology while developing confidence in their vocal ability. This is a great outlet for audition preparation, show rehearsing or add as a special skill. Music Theory will also be used and a piano is required.

About Tyler

Hi There! My name is Tyler and my younger pupils call me Mr. Tyler. I am a Philadelphia native with a background in the Performing Arts. I have taught children ages 5+ and yep! that means adults too. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the piano, working out, attending shows, playing video games, doing research, contemplating, shopping, teaching and of course furthering my craft. I offer great advice and always aim to make a positive impact on the life of another. I believe there is a lesson to be learned often and we could never know too much. The human mind has an unlimited capacity. Theater a
nd Film are my specialty and Music is my second love and I've directed for the stage and choir.

Whether you are preparing for a role, school play, variety show, needing to be coached, audition or need to brush up on your skills, then I am here for you! Acting can be very therapeutic, challenging and fulfilling! Music can be very liberating and visceral. Piano is a blissful introduction to all the different flavors of music. Writing is an intellectual outlet crucial to all of humanity. If you can learn to express yourself through these mediums then you will go far! :-)

Kelsey L.

Feasterville Trevose, PA

My voice lessons include a significant amount of time spent on warm-up activities to build healthy technique and train the ear. We focus on expressive and clear diction, tone quality, vowel formation, breathing, pitch accuracy, etc. I love working with the individual voice and I find it extremely important to choose repertoire that the student will enjoy. I've incorporated a variety of styles in my lessons including folk music, pop, broadway, and classical. We will structure the lesson based on the student's interests, while learning to sing with expression and control.

About Kelsey

Hi! My name is Kelsey L. I recently graduated from Bloomsburg University with a degree in Music Education. I currently teach Voice and Piano lessons. I absolutely love working with people of all ages and helping them to discover their joy for music. Whether you are a serious musician, or are just looking to have fun, I would be happy to help you or your child in any way that I can. I believe that it's never too early or too late to become involved, and that everyone is capable of success. I offer a variety of musical experiences, including formal piano/vocal lessons, general music/rhythm for y
oung children, ear training, and music theory. I can provide lessons at my home or I'd be happy to come to your house in the area. Please contact me for additional information!

Kelsey was a very good teacher. My son was a little too young to continue lessons, but she was very patient with him for his age. She made the class very interactive and fun, with animal sounds and children songs.

Kelsey does a fantastic job!! I've been singing for almost 3 years now and I write my own originals but never knew why, when I would sing I would always change the melody in my lyrics. I would never stay consistent even though I was writing the music. With just a few lessons I am already gaining more control and confidence in my voice. Kelsey truly understands the voice and makes learning very easy, fun and exciting!! If I want to learn to sing like Ed sheeran or any other artist, she knows exactly what to do and takes the proper steps to grow my voice in the direction I want to take it. She is very adaptive and will suit anyone's needs. You will be very satisfied with Kelsey and her instruction. She is not just a teacher but also a top notch musician and an amazing song writing, anyone would be pleased and happy to have her as a teacher.
