Whether you want to play for enjoyment or play in recitals or bands, we can get you where you want to be. The type of music studied (classical, pop, jazz) depends on the student. I have over 20 years experience teaching piano lessons to students of all ages and all levels, and I have personally played the piano for 30 years.
Almost everyone has access to a piano. The most common regret I've heard from adults is along these lines, "I just wish I continued taking piano lessons as a kid!" Music is a form of worship and communication that breaks down barriers. It's never too late to start! I teach the basics in piano while helping every student to quickly be able to read and perform music on their own. My goal is to instill the love of music in every student while teaching theory, effective practice methods, and performance practice and opportunities.
