I can easily recommend Melissa J. She is bright, warm, patient and enthusiastic about teaching music. Our son instantly connected with her, and he has remembered every single thing she has taught him. If he had his way, he would take a lesson with her everyday! Big thanks !

Incredible teacher and mentor

Fernando taught my son guitar for many years, but also taught him the love of music. He was not only by far, the best teacher we ever found but also a mentor to my son. My son could not wait to work with him every week and worked hard to make him proud. He was and always will be a very influential person in my son life. Excellent teacher, wonderful man.

Our family would not want anyone other than Mike to give our son piano lessons. Mike is a sweet and upbeat person, that really encourages our son to play piano, who has the knack of keeping him interested in his lessons our first challenge. We are thrilled to be able to have Mike in our home once a week.

Mike rocks!! My teenage daughter's lesson is once a week in our home. So convenient. She has tried piano lessons when she was younger but lost interest. Now, she is practicing and can't wait to learn more. Mike got her right into playing contemporary music she could appreciate. I enjoy hearing music in our home and feel grateful that we found this gifted musician who is a gem of a teacher.
Rob L. Agoura Hills, CA

About Rob

Hey Everyone! I’m Rob! I’m an instructor with over 12 years of teaching experience. I studied writing and received my B.A. at the University of Florida and received a Certificate with a concentration in Songwriting and Performance at Berklee School of Music in Boston. I remember so fondly learning guitar when I was younger. I sucked! But I loved it so much I played all the time. And in no time I was playing songs on the radio that I loved. As a teacher, I completely understand the learning curve and have tricks to help you out in those difficult times. Lessons with me are constructed from scratch and tailored to exactly what you want to learn. If you are training to get into a college program, or preparing for a show, or just looking to learn the instrument, I will bring the same ...

My brother told me he found this great guitar teacher, and I was skeptical because he has been playing guitar for a long time and has never really sounded good. Two weeks after he mentioned him, all of the sudden he didn't suck any more. He was actually kinda good. So I tried a lesson with him and Wow! Within my first lesson I was already able to play a song! I can't afford lessons since I'm in school right now, but my brother still takes lessons with him. Even though I no longer take lessons with him I still call Rob and ask him questions about guitar all of the time, and he always makes time for me. I don't know where my brother or I would be without him. Great Teacher. Great Friend.

Fantastic Teacher, Fantastic Person!!!

Robby is a phenomenal guitar teacher and player. From Music Theory to basic chord progressions he has single handedly taught me how to play the guitar. He kept me challenged and engaged and wanting more at all times. I highly recommend Robby if you are looking to pick up a guitar for the first time or get out of a guitar funk after 3 years! You will learn a lot and pick up a friend along the way.
Peter D. Malibu, CA

I have coached hundreds of songs with a wide variety of students in pretty much any style of music, accelerating their understanding of the three basic elements of song craft: lyrics, melody, harmony.

Using techniques acquired through the Berklee School of Music system, I work closely with each person's temperament and personality, and help them in drawing out their own unique mode of expression into song.

About Peter

I have taught and helped hundreds of students - of all ages - to make learning music an exciting process, and helping them achieve their goals. I teach piano, songwriting, composition, and music theory, and music production, and am fluent in Spanish. My teaching style involves technique, theory, ear training, sight-reading, music history, and performance, with the goal of creating solid, well-rounded musicians. For more seasoned music students, I help them to hone in on a musical path that best suits them, whether it be soloist, composer, accompanist, songwriter, etc. Over the last five years I have studied with over 12 music professors, both in the classroom and individually for 6 years at Saddleback Community College in Orange County. I have also studied a number of styles while

I have worked with and learned from Peter D. for a little over 2 years and am SO happy with how much I have learned. Peter is classically trained but is also open to many music styles and experimentation. Not only is he an exceptional musician himself, he really knows how to "diagnose" each student and create the lesson around their needs. You will not be bored in Peter's class!
