I had a great first lesson with Armen.
He immediately identified some areas of improvement and I really liked his style which is rigorous, demanding and rewarding at the same time.
Can't wait to our next lesson,

Marta is a talented musician who translates her skills into a managable learning program. As an adult beginner, I appreciate her flexibility, patience, kindness, and easy-to-understand instruction. I have a great time in her lessons!

I've been taking lessons with Marta for a few months now, as an adult, and am really enjoying it. Marta is clearly an incredibly talented and engaging musician who is able to translate her experience for folks, like me, who might be new to an instrument or music in general. She is skilled in music theory and technique and really focuses on ensuring her students have the foundational skills necessary to build on as they progress. I'd highly recommend her - she makes the hard work of learning a new instrument (or expanding your existing practice) incredibly fun and rewarding.

I couldn't ask for more in a teacher. I am a newbie to the cello and Lisa made me feel very comfortable and also, her teaching style is very clear, logical, starting with the basics and building step-by-step. She has a good sense of humor, too. All said, after only my first lesson, I think my learn a new trick: playing a song or two on the cello. Deb Bisacchi, MEd, MSW

"I thought I wanted to take viola lessons. Then I read her website and I realized that she might be able to help me get my voice back! I thought there was no hope ever. She has been extremely generous with her time, and I haven't seen her yet, but I'm not buying the viola I was planning on buying. I play cello, and piano still, but I am going to see if she can help me with my voice. She sounds incredible. I never dreamed that I could even have HOPE like this!"

However, Kendra's kindness and positive attitude assured me that I had made the right decision. She covers many aspects of both the technical parts of handling the viola, as well as perfecting intonation and handling a wide variety of styles of music. She also is attentive to specific needs, and accomodates for different paths depending on individual goals. Thanks for all you do for me Kendra!"
