About Marsha
The Recital was fabulous- thanks for all your work.

Goals: Since I am also a Life Coach, we really focus on how to accomplish our hopes and desires. We begin by weekly, then monthly and even a yearly goal.

Each week we also focus on something in my STUDENT PAL - mnemonic. Another is TECHNIQUE. Technique is the ability to have proper position, wrist-lifts and finger curve as well as Theoretic knowledge and application.

I started giving out lickable gold stars, you know, the old-fashioned kind? They are for those students who mark their lesson sheet and come prepared... They really seem to enjoy that, and I adore the nostalgia!

It is a great week when students are nearly all prepared and ready for their lessons. This makes both Coach and student more effective and the time together more enjoyable.

Perhaps you are reading
this with both a little excitement and a little concern. Finding the right person for your or your student can be intimidating. A short introduction follows so that you know a little about me and my philosophy which can assist you make an informed decision. If we are a good fit, lessons and learning progress more joyfully.

I have been teaching music, performing music and enjoying music since I was a tiny three-year old. My first piano lessons were at age seven. I have since taught the students of former students! How fun is that?

Music has blessed my life in countless ways and given me opportunities I'd never dreamed of. Teaching at the Young Artists Conservatory of Music; Singing in Carnegie Hall, Performing across Europe and teaching the best students for over 25 years has been a delight.

I believe strongly that those who spend their time and resources for musical education are some of the brightest and most intelligent people around. Each of my students have their own individual goals and reasons for taking music lessons, which we revisit monthly. I believe that my role is to be a support and tool for them/you to accomplish the goals set, working with music that delights and educates.

You want the best teacher, who offers information, example, practice and performance opportunities and then gets out of the way of the student's own "voice" (whether playing or singing) so that they can be free to create their own style.

*** Lesson Details ***
In our lessons, we work with a predictable schedule of balance. We have weekly exercises to make strong fingers and or voices, and technique and theory practice to hone skills that will improve our performances, whether they are for others or for our own benefit. Each student of piano can learn how to create and write their own music in time, choose their own pieces to work on, and have a say in their classical and performance goals.

We have a program of advancement, so you and your loved ones can visually see your progress and measure your skills, complete with awards and trophies.

What you learn, has everything to do with your commitment. Practice doesn't make perfect, Practice makes permanent. Only perfect practice makes perfect.

Learning the piano ought to be a JOY. I believe in playing the piano, not 'practicing' it. Enjoy what you do, and you'll do it longer and with celebration instead of duty.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Piano - upright; CD player; Music stands; Dozens of music books and lesson materials; flash cards; computer and music writing program; mic and mirror, syllabus.

*** Travel Equipment ***
No travel.

*** Specialties ***
Over the years I have dabbled in most methods, but finally come to use my own syllabus and musicianship. I can easily adapt to your favourite if that is your desire. I specialize in a total music education, not merely in learning notes. It is like looking in a mirror and only seeing eyes and skin. Music has many facets and we discover all of them.

About Christopher
With eight years experience at Valencia College and 2 years at University of Central Florida I have experienced a wide variety of students between the ages 7 to 60 years. This experience has enabled me to customize lessons in one to one sessions with each unique student and their unique needs.

My teaching methodologies include plenty of visual aids, simile's, and clear communication with a strong emphasis on Socratic questioning to stimulate critical thought in helping to understand and take control of the information to be learned.

Sessions include visual and auditory components to learning and for students who need kinetic interaction to fulfill their learning process assignments can be assigned or custom problems can be created to be solved with an overview process of what is understood and what needs to be better diagnosed.

About Siddharth
Hi there, my name is Siddharth and I have been teaching chess in public and private schools, including private lessons, over the last three years.

I love to see students grow with each lesson and accomplish their goals. Under my tutelage, I have helped students advance from beginner level to tournament level competition. Recently, two of my students have won in their respective tournaments.

I attended De Monte Fort University in England and earned my degree in Textile Technology and Business Management in 1976. Since then I have been fortunate to be able to travel worldwide.

I enjoy teaching children of all ages, as well as adults. My philosophy is to make chess a fun experience while improving my students' technical skills.

I look forward to helping you reach your goals.

About Chris
I'm a patient and experienced chess teacher with 8 years of experience teaching children and adults. My teaching approach is practical and fun. We look at the chess games that you've played, and I teach the fundamentals of chess strategy and tactics based on these games.

I have more than twenty years of tournament experience, and I was awarded the title of First Category player by the United States Chess Federation, along with a rating of 2050 (Expert). I have tournament wins against master-level players rated as high as 2300.

Whether you prefer in-person or online lessons I will work with your schedule to meet your needs.

The best way to improve is to regularly play rated games, analyze the games with a strong player, and learn from the books and videos that are well-matched to your skill level. I provide advice on all these re
sources and have teaching materials prepared if you are interested in spending some time on them.

Please message me here at this site for more information and to chat about your needs and goals.

Chris is an excellent teacher and he's really helped me improve my game. In one lesson he showed me an opening that I used to win against a strong player. We go over games that I've played and he always has helpful suggestions. I highly recommend Chris as a chess teacher.

Have you ever taken a lesson and the teacher move on before you fully understood? I have been teaching crochet for over 15 years and I know all the signs of a confused student and I know how to help. I don't just teach you how to crochet the stitches, but I give you ideas of what to make. My students love to make fun, quick, and easier crochet items that they can share with their loved ones.

I have crochet array of crochet stitches. I am great at explaining things so that anyone can understand. I have taught middle math for 6 years, so I know how to keep it simple but entertaining.

You bring the materials (I can help you find if needed) and I bring the help, knowledge, and confidence. By the end of the lesson, you will have a clearer understanding of your project and confidence to finish and share with the world.

I am available to do
lesson in-person, in my home, or online. In-person lessons should be 90 minutes long and believe me once you get going you would not want to stop.

After you choose me to be your teacher let me know what you like to create, so we can come prepared with the best materials and tools.

K, See you soon.

Hi there! I am a professional guitarist, ex-professional gamer and a language enthusiast! I have played in tons of local bands, competed in professional E-Sports tournaments and I have been a native English speaker my whole life (Teacher for almost 2 years).

I would like to start this off by saying that I love working with people. Meeting new people, talking to them and mostly, teaching them. I have a lot of patience with people of all ages. I love teaching and I would love the opportunity to be your teacher.

Improvement in any field of life always takes time, but with practice and dedication I can assure you that you will drastically improve weekly! I like interacting with my students according to their personal preferences. I believe that all individuals have the right to their own identity and I would like to be able to help my stu
dents to discover and develop their own identity.

I love all genres of music (especially rock/alternative), I enjoy games such as Counterstrike, Playerunknown's Battlegrounds and Call of Duty, and for my language students I would love to ask you where you want to start with your language course. I have a set of categories for starting off with languages!

I really look forward to getting into touch with you and to helping you reach your dreams!
