I can teach a variety of styles from classical Contra-bass an bow technique to jazz, or if you prefer we can work on syncopation for metal, holding down changes for country or just rocking it out. If you need to learn how to slap it or want to learn to strum it, then you got the right guy. I can help you work or learn to sight read sheet music, learn tab, and improve over changes/modes. Basic or advanced music theory is alright, or if you want to get really deep into it then you've got the guy that discovered Siegel Harmonics. Google it and yes there is a follow up (double blind peer-review) study coming!
I also spent a year singing and playing Bob Dylan covers on bass while on a solo tour in Stockholm Sweden. Stockholm is where they hand out the Nobel Prize, the year following Bob Dylan won a Nobel Prize. There is more to the story I assure you. Now, I cannot officially claim there was a connection, but if you my future student want to believe that there was a connection then I ...
I come from a musical family, my grandmother was an Opera signer at the Metropolitan in New York for a season before getting married, this was in the early 1900s. So I had musical training from an early age at the house hold. Later in grade school I learned to play the flute because my mother refus

I've been teaching piano for over ten years, and my students have gone on to make piano a life-long hobby, play in recitals and at church, or just enjoy playing for friends and family. My objective as a music educator is to instill in students a lifelong passion for music. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to play basic melodies and as time goes on you'll begin to play your favorite tunes comfortably. I love working with students of all ages and levels, and I can't wait to meet you!

I studied music--voice and piano--with Ronda for a number of years when I was a teenager. She left a lasting impression on me, and I know that I flourished under her direction. She is patient and kind, but also meticulous and knowledgable. Her teaching style is both engaging and professional. She has a long history of successful music instruction and this is evident in her lessons. I highly recommend Ronda."
