I have been teaching and coaching actors for 20 years. My students work professionally on stage, TV and film. Within the first few lessons, you will understand how to create a character. Soon, you will have the skills to book a role. I specialize in method acting, but draw upon my experience at The Second City (improvisation) in Chicago and other training I have had. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels; I can't wait to meet you!
About Jeremy
I can help with your audition for performing arts high schools in NYC. My students have gotten into the schools of their choice.
If you have training or are a working actor, I can help take you to the next level.
I am a working actor, published playwright and award winning filmmaker. I graduated from the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where I majored in drama. Currently, I am faculty member at Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York. I teach Method Acting, Acting for Camera, Improvi
Acting is the art of bringing a character to life. I use the Lee Strasberg Method, my original exercises and a fun and serious demeanor to help actors express themselves as artists and gain the confidence and skills they need in order to book acting jobs.
My book, "The Young Actor's Handbook", is published by Applause Theatre and Cinema Books. "The Young Actor's Handbook" ignites the beginning actor's creative soul with acting exercises, acting theory, writing exercises and insight into what it means to be an actor. This is a pragmatic manual that guides and informs the young actor, beginning actor, novice acting teacher or anyone who wants to understand acting.
"Jeremy Kruse's book, "The Young Actor’s Handbook", leads the young actor on the correct path. Jeremy is an experienced acting teacher who has broken down acting in an academic way while nurturing the soul of the actor. He understands the emotional aspects of good acting. I commend Jeremy and believe he has accomplished quite a feat in writing "The Young Actors Handbook." - Vincent D'Onofrio

When I began directing I found that my favorite part was taking the time to coach the actors and finding what techniques worked best for them to get them to where they needed to be in their performances. Often my rehearsals are a series of exercises and coaching techniques to help the actors grow into their performances, which lead me to want to teach acting more regularly.
About Alyssa
My name is Alyssa and I have been been acting for nearly 15 years. I began by doing school and community shows when I was in elementary school and went on to study acting and directing at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Proffessionaly I have worked in theatre, film, improv, TV, & commercials. I also have experience working at a talent agency which gave me a lot of insight for what agency's are looking for in talent and what casting directors are looking for in submissions. I bring and share my knowledge not only of the craft of acting but the business of it as we

About Camila
I grew up in Arizona, performing in every theater production I could find. In my teen years, modeling with Ford Agency connected me to my first TV gig. That little production got me connected with my first acting agent in Los Angeles and I moved out to pursue my dreams at age 17.
As soon as I turned 18, I booked the LEAD in a Nickelodeon pilot. The show was not picked up, and thank goodness, because I was not ready for stardom!
Through the years, I have worked on single and multi cam comedy, drama, procedurals, indie film, and many more. Now if that sentence means nothing to you... don't worry! I can teach you all about it in
I have trained in Meisner Technique, Method acting, Cold Reading, Scene Study, Audition Technique, Improv, Sitcom technique, Sense memory, and the list goes on. I have had television roles on the CW, CBS, ABC, Freeform, TNT, HBO, and FOX! And with all of that said, the most valuable work I have ever done, is the work I did on myself.
The industry in Los Angeles has tested every one of my insecurities, abilities, and beliefs. And with every test, I have come out the other side with newfound strength, determination, and inspiration! Coaching actors is a skill I enjoy, and seeing my students succeed with JOY, CONFIDENCE, and PASSION brings immeasurable value to my own career. I believe in creating in community and have hosted an acting group for years now. One of which is filled with actors you can see on your TV and movie screens today! Teamwork makes the dream work and I am on your team, from the very moment we meet.
At the end of the day, humans just want to create beautiful art that impacts the world and I want to help you do just that. I want to guide you into living an even more abundant life, full of purpose and joy.
