Yoga and meditation have been in my life for ten years. After training and being certified with a Yoga Alliance school, I started teaching six years ago. I love teaching beginners and using therapeutic modifications to safely engage with injuries.

Yoga is a practice that can offer many gifts. The movements and other practices, like mindful breathing and guided meditation, bring stress-relieving benefits, no matter what practice level or time commitment.

Lindsay is very knowledgeable about yoga and she cared about me getting what I wanted from the lesson. I have done yoga before in classes and videos, but that did not allow for real time feedback specifically for me. The online "live" class format with Lindsay had the privacy and convenience of my home and Lindsay taught for my level and condition (an old shoulder injury) and focused on making sure my form good with each position (it was all about me! lol). She gave great, clear feedback with attention to detail with every move. I definitely will take more yoga lessons from Lindsay.

Lori grew up overseas & comfortable on stage from a very young age. With a huge love for ensembles and teamwork, harmony came very naturally to her. It was obvious early on that music was life-giving, and a source of joy. She studied music at Azusa Pacific University and received her B.A. in Music, with an emphasis in Church Music and with Voice as her primary instrument, adding on optional classes like Vocal Pedagogy and performing in 5 languages at her Senior Voice Recital. Her most thrilling performance was singing Mahler's 2nd Symphony with the Apollo Chorus of Chicago in downtown Chicago in May 2016. With a background in engineering my number one goal is to create a safe space for students to discover body awareness, strength, and flexibility in their unique body. I'm a performer, choreographer, journalist, and certified yoga instructor. I hold a BFA in Dance and a Minor in Journalism from California State University, Long Beach where I graduated Cum Laude. In addition, I am a 200-RYT with Yoga Alliance after receiving my training through Long Beach School of Yoga under the direction of Ram Bhakt.
