My approach to teaching the program is cumulative and holistic from an introduction to slide management to the invocation of complex slide objects with animations/transitions.
My emphasis is on intelligible and transparent learning to avoid frustration and intimidation. I use a lot of examples and visuals that are readily available. The most common requests are as follows:
basic slide formatting and sequencing, importing and customizing slide objects, installing animations and slide transitions, linking from related office applications to power point, creating dynamic text art, using and controlling the presenter interface with speaker notes, along with variable, custom topics for an optimal, pertinent lesson experience.

I have been teaching Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for more than eight years
This course takes you from knowing nothing about Photoshop to having an incredibly good handle on the program in as little time as possible.

The three legs of Photoshop are:
* Layers
* Selections
* Color Correction
If you understand how to manipulate those three elements you can accomplish just about anything with Photoshop. This course starts by going over those concepts and then shows how to combine them for powerful results. Rather than showing you every single feature this course focuses on the features people actually use without boring you to tears on the other tools.

I am an experienced Photoshop user and have taught it to high school students. Although I love to take photographs, my photos don't always come out the way I'd like. However, I can fix almost anything using Photoshop! I can teach you how to modify colors, wipe away wrinkles, fix lighting issues, select certain areas of a photo you can then modify, add or remove parts of a photo, and so much more!

In advance of our first lesson I ask students to let me know how much they might already know about Photoshop, and what they want to learn. That way we can hit the ground running when we start your first lesson. And there is no need to worry about forgetting what we covered, because I provide each student with their own copy of a collection of tips, tricks and shortcuts I've put together.
