Ms. Janai was the best tutor I have ever had. No matter the day, or time she was always there to help me out. Either it was math, science, writing, etc. she'd help me with every subject no matter how long it took for me to get it right, every subject was like her first nature. She was amazing teaching in person and just as good online. I've never met another tutor like Janai, she understands what you're going wrong and what your difficulties are, but she always manages to turn those difficulties around and make you better at understanding what you need to do better in order to succeed. If you're looking for an outstanding tutor Janai is the way to go!

About Faith
I am an outgoing college freshman student, persueing a doctorate degree. I was born here but my parents, aunts, and uncles, taught me Spanish as my first language.
Right now English is my primary language, it has been since I was 5, but I am glad that I was taught Spanish, now I can help students learn a new language which will help them as they grow up.
I am very exited to teach young kids not only the Spanish language but also how important and necessary it is to know more than one language.
I truly believe I can help each and every one of you by adjusting my classes as I get to know you more.

After spending the last two years in Colombia, teaching in 2 unique communities and living with local families, I have gained an Advanced level of coloquial Spanish that I will share with you. I will use a mix of grammar, basic conversational Spanish, and stories about Colombian culture in an encouraging and non-judgmental way and, of course, we will go at your pace. Be aware that I am not afraid to make ridiculous faces when helping you with your pronunciation, my goal is that you learn!

If you are coming in with some knowledge - great! We can talk about different topics to help you practice your verb conjugations and expand your vocabulary.

I'm looking forward to sharing this beautiful language with you and, as always, "a la orden"!

About Rebecca
Hola! Me llamo Rebecca y soy tu amiga nueva!

Did you catch that? If not, that's okay! I told you that my name is Rebecca and that I am your new friend. My approach to teaching is somewhat informal; I want you to feel comfortable, at home and at ease about learning a new language - it can be daunting! Don't worry though, I'll help you in your first steps in understanding the grammar, structure and feel of this romantic language. Once you're ready, we can start with light conversations and get you chatting in no time!

My experience learning Spanish in both a typical classroom setting and through immersion helps me give you a variety of tools to study and learn yourself. In addition to the Spanish language, I will share my perspective on Latin American culture with you: the music, food, dance and, of course, the people!

I loved my
time in Colombia and want to share with you all that I learned.
