I have experience teaching young students, including children and can create fun and inventive ways of teach beginners the basics of chess.
I've been playing chess since I was about 10 years old and I've taught several other people the basics of playing chess, including small children.
About Melissa
I've taught all age groups from age 2 up to retirees. My teaching experience includes one-on-one and group classes in a variety of settings. I've taught corporate classes, private lessons, small groups, and traditional classroom lessons.
We have a student-centric philosophy of learning. Lessons are generally relaxed and designed to work towards accomplishing student determined goals. While all students will study similar fundamentals regarding technique, theory, and performance, every lesson is as different as every person. Special focus on topics like music theory, self-accompaniment, composition, song writing, and home recording are available as well.
What are your personal goals? We'll tell you what you need to do to get there, and help you take the steps to achieve your aspirations.
Lessons with small children are more focused on just having fun while developing a good musical foundation, but we prefer for them to have as much personal ownership of their lesson as possible.

Experienced International Master ready to help teach how to advance to the next level.
About Florin
If you have any questions at all send me a message and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible. Also if you do not see a certain time slot available you can check with me to see if indeed that slot is taken.
For lessons I typically use Dasher and Skype (audio only).
You could try to use the iOS version instead but it has a few more glitches than the Windows version.
You can get a 30 day trial on ICC (Internet Chess Club) after that it will be a monthly subscription but it is the best chess server out there for finding the right kind of players.
Right now I am only accepting online lessons, thanks for stopping by!

I have been coaching chess for 2-3 years now. What makes chess lessons unique with me is that I make the chess lessons exciting, fun to learn, I point out mistakes/weaknesses in a very kind way, I give good examples of moves/positions relate to real life, I teach people the psychology of playing chess, and I improve people's game through love and repetition. I teach several opening variations as well as middle-game and end-game tactics. But I focus on what people's weaknesses are and I make those weaknesses their greatest strength.
About Mathew
I am currently coaching 7 students to go above and beyond their expectations. If you hire me as your coach, I will take you above and beyond your expectations in the game of chess. My coaching style is hands on, which means that I provide move by move feedback. My coaching philosophy is grounded in encouragement and meticulous game review. My one student that I have been coaching for 2 years went from never playing chess to a 1350 USCF chess rating.
I graduated from Kutztown University of PA in 2013 with a B.S. in Biology: Molecula

About Ahmed
In a digital age, learning software usage, software programming, and mathematics have become as vital as learning reading, writing, and arithmetic. Learning IT is essential in pre-college education, college education, workplace, acquiring advancements in current job; searching for a better job; managing businesses; and managing one’s personal life. Thinking computationally is something that every well-educated person needs to know and should know. There is a great digital divider between the Knows and Know Nots. This digital divider is connected to the Haves and the Have Nots. Crossing this digital divider requires solid understanding of digital concepts. One should not only live with these concepts, but could hardly live without. Many find a lot of IT potential opportunities but not enough knowledge to benefit from t
I have helped people of all walks of life how to cross this digital divider. This includes professionals, business owners, college graduate students, college undergraduate students, high school students, and job applicants.
I manage to close the digital gab by simplifying mathematical and computer science concepts. I do not simply repeat what has been already detailed in trillions of pages of books and lectures. Everyone’s mind is different and thus everyone has a unique perception to understanding one issue or another.
I have taught programming algorithms, pseudo programming codes, programming codes in Python and other computer languages, Databases, Microsoft Office Applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Publisher, MS Access, MS Outlook), and other IT areas for different levels: beginning, intermediate, and advanced.
I am a programmer analyst. I have an IT sole proprietary business that deals with the design of computer software including programming analysis, databases, and data analysis. My sole proprietary business also covers software programming in computer languages that span from earlier languages such as BASIC, FORTRAN PASCAL, DBASE, COBOL to languages that continued and expanded such as C. And newer languages such as PYTHON with its extended libraries that managed to combine other tools and programming languages and became in its 3.x version an object-oriented language that runs linearly. Computer languages that include Weakly-Typed language, Strongly-Typed Language, High-Level Language, Low-Level Language, Interpreted Language, Compiled Language, General-Use Language, and Target-Use Language. My sole proprietary covers software design that combine code quality with efficient use of mathematics, logic, syntax, time, memory, and processing power.
