I enjoy teaching people what they want to learn. If they have specific interests, I will show them how to get the results they want. If a general musical education is desired, I will make suggestions as to what would be good for them. With over 35 years of teaching experience, I have found many different ways to communicate how and why the whole thing works on different levels.
About Mark
I have played on tour with several professional bands, playing rock, pop, blues, African, metal, and country. Now I am a bandleader and perform live in various bands and record original music as often as possible. My music has gotten airplay in many countries. I started taking guitar lessons

Early on, I learned a few fundamental concepts of music theory that would forever change how I learned, as well as how I taught music to others. I believe these concepts set a foundation that allowed me to understand music and grow much faster - including learning multiple instruments.
And yes, I eventually acquired a real guitar and went on to study music and computers at the University of California and I currently compose music for TV and film in my own studio. I have taught guitar, bass, piano, drums, theory, composition and recording production to ...
