My journey into the world of yoga began when I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, a pervasive autoimmune disease characterized by pain in the body. Steve contacted me before my first lesson to discuss what I expected from the session. I had only scheduled one lesson and wanted to try it out for myself and because I am enrolled in a graduate study program; I needed to try an alternative healing session so I could complete an assignment. I loved that Steve explained the movements and how they affected the internal body, mind, and spirit. He is a wealth of information and I plan on continuing to learn from him.

I haven't even taken the lesson yet, but am struck by his professionalism in reaching out to me by phone to discuss my knowledge and expectations of Qigong. My journey into yoga started out with just wanting to be able to touch my toes. I sat down on my mat in my first class in a room with about 40 other students, nervous as ever about all the crazy gymnastic like poses we'd have to do. Our teacher turned down the lights a bit, turned on some soft flute music, and asked us to take a deep breath. Then another. Then another. Slowly she guided us to move our bodies and focus on how each breath felt in each position. Eventually, breath by breath, I was able to touch my toes.

Upon deciding to begin Yoga Therapy with Kaity Rose, you will be given an intake questionnaire to complete for Kaity to gain a larger understanding of your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual goals. Based on this intake process, a yoga class is created specifically for you. Your first session will typically last 90 minutes for further intake.

After your initial assessment, you will practice a personalized session with your Yoga Therapist. You are welcome to record your session to practice again at home. Your personal protocol will be written up, in most cases, for ease in taking the practice home. Results are dependent on your commitment to practice the techniques daily. Expected practice time is approximately 20 minutes/day.

I love the down-to-earth approach and peaceful energy Kaity brings to the classroom! As a 52 year old woman with only a little expereince with yoga, I find Kaity's teachings totally approachable and non-intimidating. I always leave her class feeling powerfully renewed! Kaity teaches for ALL body types, ALL genders and ALL ages! I definitely don't feel like I don't fit in or can't keep up. She definitely knows her stuff and really seems to care about each and every student. She's the real thing!

Kaity did an amazing job holding space for me to get into a rhythm with my poses. She provided a very well formed balance between guiding me into a deep practice and allowing me to have space and silence. She is professional, nurturing and understands the dynamics of yoga at an advance level. I am not very flexible so she was able to give me adjustments that are safe for my body type but still stretch me at the same time. She also has a great mindful presence that added to the depth of the practice... Definitely going to do more sessions with her.

Paul is an amazing yoga instructor! He puts a real focus in breath, which is often difficult to find in an instructor. He is also great at being able to adapt sessions for specific needs. I can't imagine going to anyone else!

Paul really listens to me and customizes the practice to my needs. He's very knowledgable and encouraging, without ever being pushy. His calming disposition is laced with a great sense of humor. Several of my friends have also started practicing with Paul, and are now suggesting him to others. I started out with Paul as a new-by, and when I've gone to yoga classes in other cities I feel confident. He has provided excellent instruction and challenges me each and every time.
