I specialize in Singing stage performance.
Being able to sing well is not enough to perform well.
Student needs to bring to stage at least 85% of what he is able to do in the classroom. Better - 150%.
In my class students meet in small groups, perorm in front of each other, and then we exchange notes. We do 2-3 rounds of performing and discussing to make sure it all works.
In my classroom student learns how get rid of stage fright, how to make stressful situation to work for his advantage, not to stand in a way of best performance.
I also use Stanislavsky acting method for singing performance.

I was a Ballroom Director for the student organization on campus during my college study, as well as joined the SJSU Ballroom Dancesport Team. My lessons are catered in developing basic fundamental techniques and footwork. After the mastery of the basic fundamental technique and footwork, we will then work toward building patterns. My goal is to make sure my students are comfortable and confident enough in dancing to a full 3 mins songs. Throughout the courses, I will also introduce dance theory and music theory. By combining theories with body mechanic, I am striving to ...

I believe everyone has the ability to sing … some better than others, of course, -- but regardless, I believe every voice can make a beautiful sound. I believe learning to sing requires team work: with the proper instruction and learning tools from me, the instructor, and with the dedication (pra

In a perfect world, acting would be enough. We would just train and perform well and the jobs would just come. We know that is not the case. Half of being a working actor is learning how to sell our skills and experience. The Actor Bio is a subtle tool that, if used well, could make getting work much easier. In this article, we are going to look at why the Actor Bio is structured the way it is and write one as we go. By the end you will not only have a working example for reference, but a be …

Hollywood actress, Rosalind Russell once said; “Acting is standing up naked and turning around very slowly.” Although meant as a joke, this is the best description of acting I have ever heard. At the core of acting, is truth and vulnerability. You cannot hope to be a successful actor without baring your heart and soul for the craft. But what exactly is the craft? The History of Acting In order to truly understand acting, one must understand the history of the craft. And, what a history i …
