About Dominick
I have more than 12 years teaching experience. Of those 12, five of them have been in music stores wherein I taught students of all ages, musical interests and skill levels. My students have gone on to form rock bands of their own, compete in singer/songwriter contests and pick up other musical instruments all because of the musical interest/passion I have helped develop.

I was very involved with the local music scene in the Midwest and now, in the Phoenix area. I have written, produced, engineered and played on many recordings ranging in genre from folk to metal and classical to jazz.

I have a professional studio built in my home that has a both a control and live room, wherein, I can record something as elaborate as a full band or something as simple as a single vocalist.

Please be sure to check out my blog "SCALES and CHO
RDS and STRINGS, OH MY!!" it is a one-stop place for getting guitar insight and pointers.

*** Lesson Details ***
My teaching style has three major areas: technique, theory and composition. I try to motivate students to write their own music and by doing this I establish a need for theory and technique to accomplish what it is they may feel or hear in their heads.

I try very hard to establish and maintain a comfortable environment with my students. In a comfortable place, someone will be open and not afraid to express themselves and make mistakes. Moreover, they will be able to recap the benefits of having a one-on-one musical instructor that can help them reach their goals.

I respond to passion very quickly. I can promise if the student is serious about learning guitar and passionate about music all together, then they will excel quickly with me and have much versatility to show for the hard work and practice.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Pro Tools, music workstation, keyboards, guitars, basses, amps, effects processing, microphones, stools, studio monitors all in a professional studio space with good lighting.

*** Travel Equipment ***
I can provide instrument cables, tuner, music stand and practice amplifiers. I always expect a student to have his or her own guitar with a complete set of strings. However, I am always willing to let a student use one of my guitars for experimental purposes. Also, depending on the student and type of lesson, more may be required; such as: a computer with recording software, audio interface and a keyboard.

*** Specialties ***
I specialize in music theory-based instruction, improvisational techniques, songwriting and instrumental versatility. It is my goal to produce musicians that are passionate about all three parts of music: creation, practice and performance.

Dominick was nice, patient, and encouraging with my eleven-year-old daughter, which she needed. He was also responsive about rescheduling lessons by texting (which we both needed to do at times).

6 years tutoring experience through the No Child Left Behind program with various companies and independently. Biology is one of my fortes.

About Natalie
Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, at the age of 9, Natalie knew music was something that was just a part of who she was. Writing songs on the piano before lessons could be scheduled, Natalie found herself immersed in a medium that would bring her joy for the rest of her life.

By age 14 Natalie had won several trophies competing in Classical piano with the Illinois Music Association.

As an adult, she would go on to fill her life with the world of music as a singer, songwriter, performer and recording artist.

Graduating from Elmhurst College (1997) with a Bachelor's in Music, Natalie received high accolades earning a membership in the Lambda Sigma Psi Music Honor Society.

During her college years, Natalie created and owned a local music publication called, "The Local Buzz". At this moment she had discovered her
desire to teach. "I just wanted everyone I knew in music to know and use what I was learning, or had learned from the music classes, professionals I had been meeting and working with, and my overall music life experiences". By 1997, Natalie was signed to an independent label and embarked on a new adventure.

"Music is an adventure, but without the foundation and passion I had as a child, I would have never landed where I did. I truly LOVE to teach and share what I know about piano, and the world of music. Music is what I know, and know best. Helping to create a solid foundation and build confidence in someone embarking on a journey in music is the most rewarding profession I have ever had the honor of participating in."

*** Lesson Details ***
Natalie enjoys teaching students of any age, but specializes in piano, voice and beginning guitar, tailoring lessons to each individual's goals and reasons for learning whether it be for personal pleasure or professional performance.

Keeping things lighthearted and fun, Natalie breathes confidence into each student using her sense of humor, and down-to-earth personality.

Feeding off 40 years of personal and professional experiences, Natalie patiently listens to the student's desires, needs and notates their learning patterns, allowing for growth at their own pace.

Natalie's goal is to Make Music Matter to you and create a foundation that will allow you to continue to find joy in making music for the rest of your life.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Designated music space in the living room with a Spinet piano, guitars, bluetooth powered speakers, karaoke equipment, microphones and comfortable seating.

*** Travel Equipment ***
I provide lessons, exercises and most music

Short Version: I scored over the 98th percentile on both the SAT II Biology (M) exam and AP Biology exams and have a degree in physiology from UCLA.

Long Version: Biology is one of the subjects that I tutor students on most throughout the year. Many of the students that come to be for help are in Advanced Placement (AP) Biology and are struggling to understand the material and do well on class exams. Other students come to me to get additional preparation to score highly on the SAT Biology and/or AP Biology exams, both of which are valued highly by colleges and universities throughout the application cycle. Having scored over the 98th percentile on both the SAT II Biology (M) exam and AP Biology exams myself, and having tutored students in biology for the MCAT (for medical school), I have very strong command over this subject area and can help improve one's understanding in the area greatly.

About Albert
I am currently a tutor for the Princeton Review, have taught at UCLA (TA), and have 10+ years of private tutoring experience working with tutoring companies in addition to test prep companies. I specialize in tutoring high school, middle, elementary, and college students to prepare them for matriculation to the best universities/colleges/graduate programs and private middle/high schools possible.

Now for the 2017-2018 school year, I stand as one of the top tutors on Wyzant in the U.S. and Bay Area (hours-per-month & rating wise) and have tutored 820+ hours at Princeton Review and 3500+ hours at other private tutoring companies, including his own. I am currently in very high demand for both in-person and online sessions.

I currently tutor students from schools all over the Bay Area and U.S. (both in-person & online), including Missio
n San Jose, Monte Vista, Dougherty Valley, Foothill, Pleasanton, and more.

List of all schools I currently tutor and have tutored students from: www.wyzant.com/resources/blogs/467949/0705542376

I specialize in tutoring ALL subjects, math, science (chemistry, biology, physics, anatomy/physiology), English/reading/writing. I am also a test prep MASTER and a full-time tutor for the SAT/ACT/AP, MCAT, GMAT, DAT, OAT, GRE, ISEE/SSAT, TOEFL, TEAS, GED, CLEP exams (and more!). I have scored in the 99th percentile on all of these exams and my students have all achieved excellent results from my tutoring.

I have had great success tutoring students in multiple subjects for overall grade and study skills improvement + academic achievement. I currently tutor students of all grade levels, including college students, grad students, and adults.

**NOTE: LIMITED SPOTS/TIMES AVAILABLE! I currently only accept students on an APPLICATION basis depending on availability and other factors. I may not be able to accept you/your student at a given time. **ONLINE TUTORING SESSION SLOTS ALSO LIMITED**

- I also offer piano lessons (11+ years experience) and computer/tech assistance.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My Education & Credentials ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I graduated with a degree from UCLA with high honors (Dean's Honors List, Magna Cum Laude) in Integrative Biology & Physiology. I also took many classes at UCLA in education, linguistics, history, and English. I had a cumulative GPA of 3.838 with 265.5 completed units at graduation and was a 10-time Dean's Honors List Recipient. I also was a member of the UCLA Regents Scholar Society, the Alpha Lambda Delta/Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Societies, the Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Health Honor Society, and Christian Students at UCLA. I worked as a TA for several undergraduate classes at UCLA, including Education 92F and Life Sciences 2-3. I also have gone through rigorous UCLA and Stanford University graduate-level coursework in science, math, educational strategies, and curriculum & instruction.
I have scored at the 98th percentile on the SAT I/II tests and received the highest score of 5 on multiple AP exams (see below for more details) as a high school student, achieving the AP Scholar with Distinction award by the end of my junior year. I have been the recipient of over $350,000 worth of many university merit-based invitational and scholarship honors and awards. Some of the most notable scholarships I have been awarded are the Regents Scholarship from both UCLA and UCSB. Both provided me with a large monetary award (full-ride), priority enrollment, 4 years of room and board, and many other privileges, honors, and incentives.
The SAT examinations that I have scored at 98th percentile or higher are as follows: SAT I; SAT II - Math 2; and SAT II - Biology (M). I also took many AP exams during high school, achieving the AP Scholar with Distinction award by the end of my junior year. Some of the exams that I have taken include: AP Physics B (Score = 5); AP Chemistry (Score = 5); AP Biology (Score = 5); AP Calculus AB (Score = 5); AP Statistics (Score = 5); AP US Government & Politics (Score = 5). I continuously study and retake the SAT, ACT, and AP Exams to stay on par with both the big and small changes each year to the exams.
~~~~~~~~~~~ My Personal Message to You ~~~~~~~~~~~

One of the wisest teachers once said that poor grades, study habits, and test scores are not life-threatening, but they are college-, job- , career-, and quality-of-life threatening. The most competitive students take a pro-active approaching to academics and tutoring while the least competitive take a reactive approach. All you need to do is watching the documentary 'Two Million Minutes' by Bob Compton to realize why students in other countries such as India and China surpass American peers in almost every subject, especially language (writing, grammar, etc.), math, science, and engineering-related subjects. They attend extra classes and tutoring from 6-7 AM in the morning to almost midnight.

In today's fast-paced and competitive job market, there is simply too much to lose by not investing now in your child's or your education. If a student is struggling, it makes sense to get him/her the help needed so that the time spent in school is worthwhile. Great grades and test scores can open doors that may have been previously closed and are also significant factors when determining scholarships, so investing time and effort now can pay off substantially in the future. Finally, let's not forget the most important part in all of this: the student. The confidence, knowledge, and skills that a student gains through effective tutoring can last a lifetime.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch. Every day spent waiting is another class or lecture's worth of material that you might potentially fall behind or another low quiz/test/exam score that will only make it harder to recover from. I have had too many students who could have received the grade(s) they wanted had they contacted me from the beginning.

I scored in the 99th percentile on the MCAT and received A's in every science class I took in college as a cellular molecular biology major (GPA: 3.92). I will be attending a Top 15 medical school in the fall.

Having dyslexia, dysgraphia, and auditory processing disorder taught me how to develop learning strategies that play to my strengths and avoid my weaknesses. This work enabled me to maintain a 4.6 GPA in high school and straight A's in college without learning disability accommodations. I am always extra excited to help others with learning disabilities succeed where others expect them to fail.

During our lessons we will go over your course material, assess your strengths and weaknesses, and discuss strategies for improving.

Additionally, if you are interested in medicine I am happy to discuss the research, volunteering, and many other things needed to gain acceptance into medical school. During the application cycle I interviewed at 10 schools including Johns ...

About Tyler
I received my Bachelors of Science in Cellular Molecular Biology, graduated Summa Cum Laude (GPA > 3.9) and Phi Kappa Phi (Top 10% of class). I scored in the 99th percentile of the MCAT, 100th percentile of the ACS National Organic Chemistry Exam, and 98th percentile in the science section of the ACT. This fall, I will be attending a Top 15 medical school.

I grew up with the learning disabilities dyslexia, dysgraphia, and auditory processing disorder. I believe the challenges of having learning disabilities has given me the experience to help others succeed and enjoy academics.

I began teaching by tutoring at-risk students in chemistry at my high school. I mentored students in problem solving and aimed to excite them towards the assignments.

I continued teaching as a teaching assistant for the upper division cell biology class
by instructing students in immunological laboratory techniques (including flow cytometry and ELISA).

My research on rheumatoid arthritis conducted at my college and Harvard Medical School has resulted in seven presentations, three at national medical conferences.

As a chess player I achieved a rating in the 98th percentile of scholastic players and have taught students from 8 to 27 years old.

I taught Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Biology lab for UPenn undergrads, and I myself took advanced Chem at UPenn. All subjects that have a strong chemistry component in them. I also took AP Chem in high school. I had a near perfect SAT math score (780 when it was scored out of 800) and also attended UPenn. But most importantly I can get him/her to raise his/her Chemsitry score! I have also counseling students and parents on college admissions process since I was a counselor for UPenn undergrads for graduate school admissions.

I excelled in Biology, Chemistry and the sciences and like to deconstruct the thinking of my students and reconstruct it into a more methodical and systemmatic approach. My contagious enthusiasm for the sciences and mathematics helps inspires my students to enjoy and appreciate the subject.

About Craig
Welcome students and parents: You may not know it yet, but stumbling upon my page may change your life for the better. With me, your immersion into the world of science and education may open up opportunities that may alter your children's future path.

I have tutored students at the junior/high school, and college levels. As a teaching assistance for undergraduates at the Ivy league, the Univ of Pennsylvania, I teach pupils to dissect problems and challenges into manageable components. This was my stepping stone into a professorial role. I am originally from NYC, and attended Stuyvesant, so I also help tutor students with the SSAT and SHSAT. Knowledge and understanding alone does not make a good educator, it is the ability to transmit such skills which is remarkable.

I have a Master's of Science of Biochemical Engineering from the
University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor's of Science in biomedical sciences from King's College, University of London.

you will be able to understand hard core facts in fun and easy ways

About Mary
Hey there , my name is Mary , I am a medical technologist with tons of clinical experience , i taught many students anatomy i was a student myself helping other students understand anatomy and biology . I have worked many years as a microbiologist in NYC a teaching hospital loved teaching medical residents and fellows . I love teaching anything human body related , Anatomy ,Biology , Microbiology and Biochemistry . I strive to help my students understand all the hard core facts in a fun way . hope you are ready to have some fun learning.

My story ending me being a life coach in food and wellness

I was a heavy young female at my heaviest 225 pounds I went up to size 3xl and pant size 22 -24. At my early twenties diagnosed with diabetes although no family history, had started symptoms of pcos then diagnosed with hyper tension,
arthritis spent years with swollen foot with no diagnosis, irritable bowl syndrome very low immunity depression…. and the list was going on and on and on, each doctors visit was an addition to medicine my sugar went out of control age thirty and had multiple meds to put under control. Of course I went through all-conventional diets out there joined gyms as everyone does .And failure after the other?

So how did this happen 65 pounds less, size medium and 8 pants, controlled diabetes without medicine although I was on high increasing dose of insulin?

MINDSET , yes no restricted diets or heavy exercise it was all about awareness and mindset work , I discovered I am fighting the wrong battle, there are many reasons and underlining issues once I was aware of them I went on a journey of healing only then I was able to live the healthy lifestyle that is serving my body good, living life in full, reached many goals without much effort.

Thank you so much for taking the time to know me better , looking forward to working with you .
