Talented teachers are rare. Like a great coach i sports... the coach doesn’t need to be the top athlete in his field to know how to teach each team member to hone their best abilities, he just has to know and see how to teach you how to get there. Being an outstanding teacher is a great talent all in itself... and that is Jesse. He has that quality and ability to lead, focus and take you where you want to go.

Jesse has given directions on how to successfully become a better musician. His approach and explanation on musical theories was much more understandable than what I was previously reading. Overall, I found the lessons to be very usefull.

Maggie is an awesome piano teacher! It has been 7 years since my last piano lesson and Maggie took over recently. I didn't have much confidence in myself, but I guess she saw potential in me. My former teacher was keen on using children's piano books for me because she thinks, despite being an adult, those teaching materials are the most appropriate for my level. But Maggie had me playing Hanon right away. It was intimidating, but definitely helped me build confidence in myself! I feel so empowered playing the piano now. :) She's also very flexible. My schedule is all over the place right now due to schoolwork, but she's able to accommodate me still. I highly recommend her!

My six-year old is really enjoying his piano classes with Maggie! She made great recommendations for practice books and my kiddo seems to be learning quickly!

Maggie is great with my kids. She understands each one's skill level and adjusts her lessons accordingly. I appreciate her patience, especially since my kids are just starting to learn how to play the piano. The best part is that my kids are learning and having fun at the same time.

Learning a musical instrument should be fun, exciting, and most importantly pain-free.

About Chaul

I have been playing the violin for over 27 years. I like to teach beginning, intermediate, and advanced students regardless of their age. I would prefer beginners to take at least one year of piano lessons prior to learning how to the play the violin. This way students can transfer basic music knowl

I have been learning from Chaul for the past two months. She is a very supportive and patient teacher. I was a complete beginner when I first started, but after one to two weeks, I can play easy tunes like Twinkle Twinkle. Whenever I have any questions regarding the violin, she can give me helpful solutions. When I have lessons with her, I can immediately know where I need to improve and gain a few extra tips on violin playing.

I would highly recommend Chaul to you (people who are browsing on Takelessons)!

Paul is so great! I'm an adult learning the alto saxophone with almost no prior music experience. He is patient with my many questions, very encouraging, highly skilled (as a musician and instructor), and fun to be around! The majority of our lessons are online and that is working well too.

In teaching lessons, it is my great pleasure to share with students of all ages and skill levels the knowledge that I've gained over 27 years of playing. I firmly believe that anyone can learn anything at any time, given the proper tools!

In our first lesson, we will determine your musical goals and create a realistic path to achieving them. It's my job to help you along this path while keeping things fun.

To maintain focus and week-to-week continuity, I always provide lesson notes to take home. I can also provide recordings of lessons and transcriptions of pieces, if desired.

Elias is the best! Such a knowledge and passion of music. He has been my sons guitar instructor going on 5 months. My son has learned so much and always enjoys and looks forward to his lessons. My son is is not only learning guitar but violin as well from him. Fantastic instructor A+

I am very impressed with Elias! He listened well, offered helpful suggestions, laughed and was very congenial to work with. We discussed how to hold a bow and, since I have some arthritis in my hands, he was very open to other possible options that might work better for me. Taking lessons from him will be a bright spot in my week. I would recommend him in a heart beat!

A fun and informative lesson. Looking forward to the next one.

"My son has been learning violin with Mr. Tigran since last 8 months. He started with very basic 8 months ago and last week his middle school won 12 trophies and he was at the center of the performance. Thanks to Mr. Tigran. Mr. Tigran has the ability to come to student level and bring a change. He is soft, polite and professional. My son is fully involved in violin now and looking towards next level. I am very pleased with his performance and looking forward that one day he will be playing like Mr. Tigran. During the last 8 months there were some occasions where my son was not able to meet the schedule appointment and Mr. Tigran was very accommodating with these situations. Mr. Tigran has the ability to relate music with daily life examples so kids can understand it better. A good communication is extremely important for a teacher and he posses this skill and knows how to apply it. I can see my son will grow very well with his music in future."
