My one on one lessons are fit to the student. The pace is adapted to the student’s learning and I also take time make hula an experience for the student not just a one time lesson. They are able to connect with the music and the feelings of their motions. This is truly about telling a story and prepares a student to be on stage to perform in front of an audience.

About Liberty

My name is Liberty and I’ve taught students from the ages of 3 to 80 years old. My first class was taught when I was only 12 years old. I love hula and all the other dances in the South Pacific (Hawaii, Tonga, Tahiti, Samoa, New Zealand, Fiji). Every one of my students have left my studio feeling m

I took dance lessons from Gigi with a focus on self expression and working through issues that I was holding onto on any particular day. I am 60+ years old and never danced before. Where my typical perspective of myself standing in front of a mirror is not positive, I somehow was transformed into seeing beauty. Gigi is a beautiful person, very patient , non judging. Her goal was for me to meet my goal, even when it changed from week to week. Sometimes we worked on dance technique, other times using movement to work through feelings. I loved it.

Working with Gigi during a challenging time in my life was an amazing experience, her empathy, her nurturing quality made my experience truly lovely. She finds inspiration for movement therapeutic work by what the students needs are. After my classes with Gigi I feel spiritually rejuvenated.

"Having graduated in rigorous BFA acting for stage and screen program , and working in Los Angeles as an actor Jace has a wealth of knowledge about acting as well as the film industry. With her being a working actor she offered me so much insight about what you need to do for an audition as well as how to tweak my monologue to give it more layers. She goes with you step by step and makes you feel confident and safe. She works with you at your level and she made me feel confident going into my audition and self tapes. Seriously, she is so great!"

"Jackson Gay is masterful at guiding the actor to find their own authentic voice. She has a laser sharp focus imbued with empathy, that simultaneously put me at ease and helped me find my edge, in a way no other director has. More than anything, she helped empower me to make my own bold choices within a vast array of styles, so that my work was informed from a deep and genuine place (rather than an impersonation or a desire to please). I always feel safe to explore my edge with Jackson, but never humored if something isn't working. She's honest. It's rare to find guidance both so kind and so sharp. Jackson Gay understands and loves actors, and that love comes through in her work."

"Glenn is a fantastic instructor. I was a beginner to acting, but I've really wanted to learn more about the craft for a long time. Glenn broke down the fundamentals of reading, character development, and script analysis to help make a more believable performance. Now we're getting into blocking and developing the physical aspects of a character. I'm learning a great deal and Glenn's patience and encouragement make him the ideal instructor to learn and grow. Highly recommend!"

"Unparalleled Singing and Acting instructor, in skill, approach, and talent.

Danielle has taught my daughter Voice and Acting, and my son Voice. In both cases, Danielle got to know my children's goals and dreams, as well as what they most needed and wanted to work on. Both of my children looked forward to their lessons immensely, knowing they would be greeted with respect, fun, challenges, and intensive attention to their progress. Danielle is herself a talented performer, and since my children had seen her sing and have heard her voice-overs on TV and radio, they knew that she took their goals as artists seriously. My daughter is now 19 and, largely thanks to Danielle's instruction and encouragement, makes her living as an actor in L.A. My son is 17 and sings and plays horn in a professionally-gigging Jazz band; he is also clarinet section leader of his high school Marching Band, and a member of the school's auditioned show choir. He has twice sung the Star Spangled Banner at his school football games as a soloist. His skill, style, and especially his confidence were honed via Danielle's tutelage. My children's specific talents and goals, as well as their overall development as performing artists flourished under Danielle's dynamic and caring instruction."

Introduction to Voice Acting: Books & Resources to Check Out

When it comes to the performing arts, voice acting attracts some of the most fiercely dedicated enthusiasts, despite the relative anonymity compared to acting on stage or on screen. In the old days, radio dramas were the most common inspiration for aspiring voice actors. Today, it’s animation. The key component of voice acting, even more than secrecy and seclusion, is versatility. An in-demand voice actor may be called upon to provide the pipes for a cartoon rabbit in a kid's show on Friday, …
