I have worked independently as a chess teacher for over 14 years. I play in National tournaments and I have an online chess profile.

I have worked with two of the largest chess instruction companies in the U.S., Silver Knights and Chess Wizards.

My primary focus is with students who play in tournaments but I also work well with people who just want to learn the game.

As a self taught player I understand and emphasize with adult players who have time constraints.

A recent student of mine placed in the 2015 PA state championship for his age group.

I have a BS degree in Marketing from Georgetown University
I have a MS degree in Information Technology from
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

When I am not teaching chess I work as a HR Consultant.

Very good instructor, I have had two lessons so far with Lawrence. The first lesson he introduced me to the type of software he uses, he referred me to certain websites I should check out, like chessgames.com where we analyzed some master games in the opening that I play and an overview of what we would cover in lessons. My second lessons we worked on some tactics and some positions because I wanted to focus on more of my middle game. And he also helped prepare me for an upcoming tournament I am playing in by going over my openings. His explanations are clear, and he provides many additional resources to explore and study.

About A.J.
I've been playing piano for 27 years, and I've been a touring musician & recording artist for 15 years.

I can teach anything about any keyboard or synthesizer: piano, organ, rhodes, analog synths, digital synths, software synths, Ableton Live, midi setup, production, beat making with midi, and the list goes on.

I'm also a trained vocalist. I can teach vocal lessons, but each student has specific needs vocally, so let me know what your goals are for your voice. Recording? Live performance? Just would like to sing better, but no specific goals?

I can teach songwriting, production, arranging, and how to be in a rock band. I have a wide range of experience in the industry, so I can teach anyone how to go beyond their instrument, and develop their music further into full compositions either by on their own, or with a band.

I've ta
ught professionally for 4 years at Band Aid School of Music in Austin, Texas.

I've released multiple professional albums, and I have countless hours of experience in multiple professional recording studios, including my own.

I've toured all across the United States, Canada, U.K., and mainland Europe.

It's a great day to learn something new! Hi my name is Bridget and I would love to be able to assist you in learning the art of sewing. whether you are a beginner or not, learning is fundamental in everything we do. all you need is a sewing machine, sewing supplies, time, and a big dose of patience. and we will hit the sewing room run running.! Lets enjoy what we do and how we do it, by bringing forth your skill set and my love and passion for teaching and sewing, to the next level. I have 30 years of sewing skills and 19 of those years I have taught people from all age groups to learn how to sew. No I had no schooling, in sewing my education was in commercial art and advertising design but I had always wanted to know how to sew. so one day I was gifted a sewing machine and made all the dresses for my wedding and haven't stop sewing since
. so I hope we can enjoy each other's company as we explore the endless gifts in sewing.

I am an adjunct professor of art history and teach at a variety of community college and big ten universities online. Since I'm a remote employee, I have flexibility in scheduling appointments with students whom want to start knitting or have issues with patterns which need clarification. I love knitting and it's a daily activity I look forward to; the benefits of knitting for mind and health are far reaching. I wanted to share my love of knitting with others, therefore, that's why I want to teach.
