Teaching exclusively Hip Hop. $60 an hour. Classes are a lot of fun. Has dance training in jazz and ballet.

Private classes are great if you want to grow faster as a dancer, or if it is just a simple preference. Or perhaps you need help with the steps or learn club dancing!

Private group classes are available as well. Also group classes open to anyone.

I am so moved by movement! I've had the pleasure of being a professional dancer in both New York and Los Angeles. I've traveled the world on tour, performed live on television, and worked in TV and film, I love teaching, choreographing, and exploring movement with dancers and non-dancers alike. I've been able to work with actors and singers as a movement coach for TV and film and live performances, but some of my happiest experiences are teaching and creating dances for special occasions like father daughter dances at weddings or a surprise flash mob for birthdays.

My goal with each session is help the client feel empowered to move, express, or feel joyful. Classes can focus on dance technique in Jazz, Contemporary, Street Jazz, or Ballet. Classes can also focus on self exploration, creative expression, or story telling through movement! The goal is to get moving and feel great!

I've been a Hip-hop dancer for 10 years and have training from Beyonce, Justin Bieber, & Usher's choreographers. I'll have you looking like a Step Up dancer in no time! I specialize in popping, waving, gliding, isolations, and tutting with an emphasis on musicality.

You'll learn the foundation of Hip-hop movements then how to perform choreography and freestyle, so you can adapt the moves to any song. We'll learn a different piece of unique choreography every lesson while going through each element of the routine at your own pace.

My hop hop lessons focus on conditioning, isolations, fluidity, musicality, and strength. This can include warm up, stretch, technical exercises, across the floor, choreography, and freestyle. My main goal is that my students have fun in addition to benefitting from our lesson. All my classes are personalized to suit my students' goals, progression, and timeline.

Trained at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Ashley has danced for Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, Ne-Yo, Shakira, Shangela, the Walt Disney company. She has performed in Broadway musicals like "Newsies", "An American in Paris", "West Side Story", "White Christmas", "Mamma Mia" and many more. Along with teaching private lessons for over 15 years, she regularly teaches at Broadway Dance Center, Peridance Capezio Center, and at dance conventions all over the USA.
