Hello, my name is Bailey and I love teaching violin! I am a professional pianist and public school orchestra teacher. I have a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Fredonia School of Music. I am a certified K-12 music teacher in New York State. I have been giving private lessons for 10 years to a variety of learners ranging in age and skill level.
My students walk away each week feeling empowered and confident in their abilities. I am able to push you while making you feel excited about new challenges. I am able to assess what you need, and offer you meaningful feedback in small, digestible chunks. Along with all of this, I make lessons fun! I teach fourth and fifth graders at school, so I know how to have a good time while helping students make great strides. I make it a point to ensure that you enjoy playing your instrument.

My teaching philosophy is that music is for ALL ages and ALL abilities. I love teaching foremost because of the connection between student and teacher; I have been really blessed to have some wonderful mentors throughout my life, and I value being able to mentor others. I am here as a teacher to see you for your unique set of strengths, interests, and goals.

I specialize in teaching intermediate/advanced violin students. Lessons with each student is different with curriculum and style based on the needs of the student. I believe that music should be a part of everyone’s lives and it has many benefits! I will help you grow as a musician and would love to work with you. I have been the concertmaster of several orchestras and have 4 years of coaching and teaching.

I've been teaching the Violin for 10 years and my students have gone on to competitions and won. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to make a beariful musical lines and as time goes on you'll be able to play with more solid techniques. I specialize in Classical Music, typically use Suzuki books, and tons of other musical pieces that are out there. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

Senior Music Education Major with 2+ years of teaching experience and a member of the Cincinnati Metropolitan Orchestra. A violinist and vocalist with 11+ years of experience, and 2+ years of viola and piano experience. I believe that music is an experience that is felt and understood differently among each person and because of this, all lessons are customized according to the interests, needs, and goals of each student. My students will develop a solid foundation of music theory, aural skills, and sight-reading that will prove to be extremely beneficial in their musical studies. My greatest desire is to help all of my students to achieve their greatest musical potential and to grow in their appreciation of the beauty of music.
