Hi there, my future student! Perhaps you are wanting to develop a new hobby of tap dancing or wanting to nail that tap dancing audition for an upcoming dream role. Whether you are looking to brush up on your skills or develop a professional skill, I am SO excited that you are here. What makes my lessons fun is their tailored approach to your goals. My dance career stems from 24 years of training under incredible tap dancers including Chloe Arnold, Maud Arnold, Eddie Strachan and many more. Annalise has a very impressive background in music and education, and it really reflects through her lessons with my daughter. She has instilled a lot of confidence in my daughter, to the point that she tried out for, and made, Advanced Choir at her school. I very highly recommend Annalise!

I've been teaching Juggling for 10 years. I have juggled 9 balls, 6 clubs and 7 rings. I have spent hundreds of hours practicing and have a vast stock of tricks. I can teach anyone how to 3 balls juggle within 15 minutes. After that, I can teach any tricks within a month or so of practice, depending on the amount of practice one is willing to do outside of meetings. If the student leaves the path of training up to me, then the first big trick will be Mill's Mess. The progression from there will be to learn site swap notation and and 4 balls. After that, I can will start diversifying the lessons with learning club and ring juggling. After a few months, the student will be able to pass 6, 7, and 8 clubs with another individual, juggling 5 balls, 5 rings, and 4 clubs as well as several tricks for each. I can't wait to start teaching tossing objects around with you!

Using my vocal and acting training, I have worked with many students on improving their speaking voices for public speaking or voice-over work. I use Linklater , and Alexander technique combined with other training to help students overcome their fear of public speaking as well as their technical vocal issues, such as articulation, projection, breathing problems and modulating the voice in a pleasant way. I can help you overcome an overly nasally tone for example or a monotone voice.

About Wendy

I've been teaching private vocal instruction since 2003, and opened my own studio in 2008. I love helping people find their true, authentic voice, which I feel is essential not only for singers but many other people as well! Singing is a great joy, and the voice is one of our primary modes of expre

Dalia is honestly my go-to acting coach. She is effective, talented, funny and fair. Regardless of what I am rehearsing, and no matter how nervous I might be, she always knows how to make me feel comfortable. I struggle with stiffness and nerves in the audition room, and she has a great way of shaking those nerves right out and giving me concrete goals to focus on. She gets me out of my head and into the work. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Auriana A
Dalia was very insightful and detail oriented with my work. She made sure I found intention behind each line, which got me more confident with the monologue.
Karlon
I was nervous before my first session with Dalia, but as she saw my acting skills, she worked with me on different acting tactics and techniques as well as understanding what was happening during the monologue. She also encouraged me while I was rehearsing the monologue. So far, I have only had 1 session, but it exceeded my expectations. I can't wait for my next sessions with Dalia.

"I enjoy my class every time I go. Rebecca is a fun teacher, even though she keeps me focused. We are always thinking outside the box on how to make class better for me personally. I like that she is flexible and cares about how I learn. One of the things I appreciate most is that she points out what I do well and what I should improve in, whereas some of my teachers in the past only focus on one or the other."

5 Dance Basics to Nail Down

Watching people dance can be both inspiring and intimidating. Their graceful movements and the fluid transitions between steps can make you want to dance while making you feel extremely self-conscious. Something you should know is that there are very, very few people who look this good when they first learn how to dance! Taking dance classes and private lessons are the perfect way to learn dance basics without the public exposure. Regardless of the type of dance you are interested in, the …
