Marshall is the best instructor of music. He teaches music passionately and teaches exactly what anyone wants/needs. If you have trouble in music theory as well, Marshall would explain step by step and make sure you learn it before he moves on to a new lesson. I highly recommend Marshall because I have learned tons so far.

Experienced piano teacher of 12 years accepting students ages 8 to adult, beginner to intermediate! I structure my lessons to build a strong foundation of understanding theory and technique. Although my preference is for classical, I encourage individuality and use Alfred’s Basic Piano Books for its broad application in various styles of music. Once the students complete the curriculum, they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to play most any music or proceed to advanced instruction.

About Laura
Hi, there! My name is Laura and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2002 and have loved helping my students learn both technique and theory as I seek to motivate them to play the best that they can and to instill a love for music. Although I do not hold a degree in music, I was trained to teach by a former music instructor from the University of the Pacific. I have been playing the piano for 37 years and I am looking forward to passing my knowledge onto you and helping you reach your goals!

Laura is the BEST instructor I could ever hope for as an adult learning to play piano! She is so patient, kind and encouraging. There are times, when I don't feel that I am able to learn to play, but I always leave her lesson with a renewed sense that I CAN do it and I feel so much better, ready to keep practicing!

I've been playing piano for over 25 years and teaching piano for over 10. I use a wide variety of piano methods to fit the individual needs of all my students. Students will learn how to properly care for their instrument, how to read music, music theory, instrument technique, practice techniques, ear training (how to play by ear), and repertoire. I even have my own experimental piano courses that I have developed myself. Group piano lessons are also available at a lower cost on Saturdays only.

About Kyle
Hello potential students! I have a B.A. in instrumental music education and composition. I have taught private lessons for over 12 years. Teaching private music lessons is my primary job, so I have much experience and wisdom compared to teachers who teach "on the side." Students of all ages stay with me a long time because I am very flexible in my teaching and know how to interact with many personalities and learning styles, producing great results and progress. My specialties are piano, woodwinds, and music technology (i.e. recording and production).

Kyle is a great piano teacher! He is very patient with my 12-year old son. Just yesterday he referred to him as “fun Kyle” because he teaches him small songs on the side that he can show friends and family or are for upcoming holidays. He’s always punctual and respectful of our family and home. I’m grateful to have found him!

I desire to help all my students reach their potential as a pianist and musician. I can work with students of all abilities and age levels. I have experience working with students who have disabilities such as ADD, ADHD, and autism. Please let me know if you have any questions, and I look forward to talking with you!

About Katherine
Hello! I am a performer, voice teacher, and vocal coach who strives to help others experience their potential as a musician. I have studied with some jazz greats such as Sunny Wilkinson, The New York Voices, Rosana Eckert, Greg Jasperse, and more! I have also worked with many great pop and musical theater instructors such as Matt Edwards and Edrie Means. In 2018 I received my level 1 certification in contemporary commercial music from Shenandoah University. I have also studied vocal health with the world-renowned speech-pathologist and educator, Marci Rosenberg.

One of my greatest joys is helping others realize their potential as a vocalist. I strongly believe that with hard work and training, everyone can learn to sing well. My goal is to give students the tools they need in order to express themselves through singing. I work with be
ginning to advanced voice students.

While helping singers realize their potential, a big focus of my lessons includes vocal health. I want to give my students the knowledge they need in order to maintain their vocal health - whether at home or on the road. This will ultimately help them as a vocalist, musician, and a performer.

I look forward to talking with you more, and helping you reach your goals as a singer and musician!

I have over 15 years of teaching experience. Of those 15 years, ten years have been solely focused on teaching private piano lessons. I focus on classically based training and developing proper technique is an early emphasis. Music theory education also plays a large role in how I developed well-rounded musicians. My lessons are adapted individually to students of all ages and abilities. Technology tools are also incorporated into each lesson to help students reach their goals. If you are looking for quality piano lessons, I would love to chat with you more about any questions you may have!

About Jennifer
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2004 with my Bachelor of Science in Music-Piano Performance. During my time at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, I was an active member of Symphony Band, Wind Ensemble, University Singers, and Concert Choir. I served as the accompanist for University Singer and Concert Choir for three years. Also, during my time in Platteville, I worked with many of the local middle school and high school choir and band programs as their accompanist. On campus, I served as an solo accompanist for university student recitals for five years.

I have 15 years of experience in teaching and 10 of those years have been spent teaching private piano lessons. I operated private piano studios in Platteville, Montello, and most recently in Kenosha. During that time, my average enrollment was 30 stu
dents. Age and ability levels varied greatly, but the majority of my students started as beginners and progressed to intermediate ability during their time with me. My students performed in student recitals twice a year and also competed in The Piano Guild. I also enjoyed giving my students the opportunity to play together and sometimes I would arrange opportunities for duets and trios.

I currently work as the choir accompanist for Westosha Central High School and also as the Show Band Director for the extra-curricular band that plays backup to the Show Choir. My current role also includes playing piano for the yearly musical and accompanying our Class A instrumental and vocal students at our yearly Solo/Ensemble Festival. I also occasionally assist local grade school music programs as their accompanist as needed.

I have a great passion for teaching students to play the piano! My emphasis is on learning correct technique from the very beginning, but also on finding music that students love to play. I incorporate music theory and history into every lesson and utilize technology tools to assist in ways that each individual student will best learn.

I would love to speak with you more about my lessons and get you started!

We have four children and only one of them had the blessing of learning from Jennifer. Our son began lessons when he was in fourth grade and continued until seventh grade. The only reason he stopped at that time was because Jennifer and her family moved out of the area. He was always willing to do what she asked and enjoyed learning from her. Jennifer was always patient and encouraging, motivating him to give that extra effort.

Jennifer is very knowledgeable and fully able to teach both beginners and accomplished musicians.
