As a Rutgers University Engineer, Physics is a part of everything I love to do. I have been learning Physics for 4 years now and picked up on it faster than others. I have helped my friends and fellow classmates with any questions they've had which strengthened my understanding of Physics. I have always been told my communication skills are very strong which makes teaching and learning Physics that much easier. At the end of the day, learning from a student is much easier and less stressful than learning from your teacher.

About Dylan

Hi, there! My name is Dylan and I am currently looking for the opportunity to teach my first professional lesson! I've been teaching private lessons since 2014 and have loved helping my friends and family improve their grades, confidence, and work ethic. I went to Rutgers University and currently a

My daughter was so excited about the class, she teared up describing it. She is feeling confident and capable after ONE class and already looking forward to the next. After the class was over, she went right back to work, on her own. Only a captivating teacher with a great approach can bring out such a response!
Thank you, Dylan. You are truly great at what you do!

I enjoy having Fiona as a tutor for both chemistry and geometry. She is kind and makes the material easier to understand. Also, she is patient and takes her time in explaining the concepts to me, step by step. I love how she types some parts of the problems in the chat box. ~Genesis C.

Physics is the very first subject I began teaching - it is without a doubt my favorite subject. I have experience teaching physics at -

College level - Physics I and II - with or without calculus.
High School - Honors Physics and College Prep Physics along with AP Physics (both Mechanics and Electro-magnetics).

Test Prep - SAT Physics Subject Test, MCAT Physics (Medical School Entrance Exam), and AP Physics.

I've had several students get 800's on the SAT Physics Subject test and countless more get a 700+.

I am an MIT tutor specializing in math and science. I have taken Introductory Physics at MIT, and I have received near-perfect score on the MCAT Physical Sciences, which heavily tests on the test-takers' ability to solve problems given passages.

Having worked with many students, I understand that students have different demands from school and their schedule. As a result, I first meet with the students to determine and adapt my lessons accordingly. I also talk with the teachers as needed.

I also always carry around AP Physics prep books, SAT Physics prep books, and/or college physics problems (depending on the students' levels) so that the students can work on the practice problems during the lessons. I also provide them with additional resources (especially the list of concepts from the AP Physics labs) and practice problems as needed.

About Nayoon

I'm an MIT tutor specializing in math and test prep, and I have taught math (anywhere from prealgebra to calculus) for 6 years. I have gotten perfect scores on SAT Math, SAT Subject Test Math Level 2, and ACT Math, and I also recently helped one of my students raise his SAT scores from 670 to 800 i

"I did regents prep with Julia for my high school honors physics class back in 2011. I am now back with Julia for my calc-based college physics course! Her teaching style saves the day and I'm already better understanding my course material. She goes over each topic with her own notes and examples. I do what she assigns me first before I move on to my actual hw, and it brings me great results. I feel extremely confident about my upcoming midterms. Thank you!!!"

"I feel compelled to share a great “find” I made last year. School had only been in session for two weeks before my kids came home lamenting that their AP Physics teacher left them totally confused and stressed out. Switching to a less demanding schedule wasn’t an option so I decided to look for some help. Lord knows, it wasn’t going to come from me or my husband! I found Daniel, a 2012 UCLA engineering grad who has been tutoring for many years. After the boys’ first meeting with him, the level of stress in our household plummeted and the boys did well on their first physics test. They ended up with A's in the class and doing well on the AP exam. We’ve decided to have him come regularly, just to make sure the boys understand the material and keep them confident. Daniel is able to help them with anything they don’t get in their calculus class as well.
So as you stare the next school year in the face, if your child has any difficulty with their studies, especially in math or physics, consider talking to Daniel. He’s a lovely young man and the boys really responded to him well."
