Learn to recognize intervals and chord qualities by ear, and sight singing

About Jeremy

I began playing guitar by ear around age ten. I learned rock songs from records for a few years, and then I began a more serious study of theory in high school. Over the next several years I alternated between pursuing my music degree and playing in bands all over the midwest. In 2004, I transferre

My son has been getting guitar lessons from Jeremy for about six months. My son is really enjoying learning to play and he looks forward to his lessons with Jeremy! Jeremy is a wonderful teacher. He's knowledgeable, intelligent, professional and easy going. Jeremy is not the first teacher that my son has had but he's by far the best. I feel very fortunate to have found him!
Brad
I learned so much from Jeremy over about 4 years of lessons. He listened to my goals, and tailored his lessons to help me achieve them. From the fundamentals to more advanced skills, such as improvisation, he stuck with me and allowed me to develop my own voice on the guitar.
Chris
I'm a total beginner on the guitar. Watched a few youtube vids, learned some basics, but working in-person with Jeremy I've progressed a LOT faster. Worth the investment!

Reading music,chord building, rhythms

I love just about every style of music. I mostly play Celtic, Bluegrass, American traditional, jazz, and classical. I a

He is very good with me. I'm not a very good student. I have bad habits and I'm overly sensitive to criticism, yet he has not made me feel bad at all about my playing if you want to call it that. I also have a short attention span and can't read music fluently. But his patience is much appreciated, and each week get a little better at it all. I recommend him to those trying their best to sound a little better.
Avery B.
It was really good information and I had a lot of fun.

I have been taking fiddle/violin lessons from Marc for a few months now, and it has been a great experience. He is very patient and keeps things fun by helping me learn pieces that I am interested in learning to play. I would highly recommend him for any instrument you are wanting to learn.

"Eric is the real deal as a guitar teacher. I personally play the guitar myself, but as any parent knows when it comes to teaching your own child there is going to be some resistance no matter what! Lol. Eric is very well educated in music and has the rapport to teach beginners as well as advanced students. My son looks forward to his time with Eric and considers him a friend as well! In closing, if your looking for an instructor that has a solid music background that can channel that knowledge into your child or self, look no further!"

He definitely knows what he's doing, wants to share that with his students, and took the time to learn about my goals and history with performing. "Our son took bass lessons from Alex and really enjoyed them! He learned to listen to current songs and find the bass line. Xavier also learned how to read tab, and he really enjoyed playing his bass along with recorded tracks. Our son is a pretty busy kid, trying to balance sports, school, scouts and music. We did not want him to feel pressure about learning the bass, but we did want him to get a taste of how fun it can be to play music! We also wanted him to understand that learning to play requires a combination of listening and reading music. Alex was a great fit for our son! And now Xavier has a basic musical skill that we know he can build on someday!"
