Hello everyone, I'm Nicole Grove, a dedicated cosmetology instructor with 15 years of experience. Throughout my career, I have obtained licenses in three states, allowing me to impart my knowledge and expertise to aspiring cosmetologists across various regions. My true passion lies in encouraging, motivating, and inspiring students to become the best versions of themselves within the beauty industry. Witnessing their growth, both personally and professionally, gives me immense satisfaction and fuels my drive to contribute to their success.

Currently situated in Mobile, Alabama, I continue to educate and guide students by sharing my extensive experience and industry insights. I believe in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore their creativity while mastering the essential skills required in this field.

As an instructor, my ultimate goal is to instill a strong foundation in cosmetology and equip my students with the tools they need to excel in this ever-evolving industry. Beginners Branding 101 w/Nicole 

Learn to create a beautiful bronze glow using hydrating and ultra blendable cream illuminator, contour and blush. Give your skin the sculpted defined features you’ve always wanted through easy to follow master techniques.

You’ll need: 
-A natural bristle concealer brush (one for every cream product) similar to that of a Morphe M433
-One synthetic or natural bristle detailed powder brush. Similar to that of a Morphe V115 
-Liquid or cream foundation in your shade
-Powder or cream illuminator 
-Cream contour 1 to 2 shades deeper and more neutral than your foundation
-Cream concealer 1 to 2 shades lighter than your foundation
-Cream blush 

My career as a licensed makeup artist and skincare advisor began in 2003 when I graduated from cosmetology school. Since then, I have worked for companies like Sephora and I’ve been trained by ambassadors for Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier, to name a few. I also have my own business, focusing on weddings and photo shoots. I’ll educate you on how to best take care of your skin, what products to use and which brushes to apply with. Whether your concern is how to deal with breakouts or helping with anti-aging, you’ll be prepared with the tools and technique to confidently apply makeup to create the most natural and flattering results.

Contour + Highlight like a pro!

In just 10 short minutes, you can create and eye look that’s perfect for day or evening. 
Whether you’re a skilled artist or a beginner, I created a look that’s easy to understand and doesn’t require many products.

Required products: 

Brushes: You will want to have at least two natural bristle brushes, one blending brush, and a detailed eyeliner brush. 

Eyeshadow: A neutral crease shade typically in a light brown or light gray.  A shimmery or glittery color for your lid. A matte cream shade or pearl shade for beneath your brow. 

Eyeliner: Creamy pencil style liner in a dark brown or black color. For this look, it’s best to avoid liquids or marker style, eyeliners.  

Optionally, a  translucent setting powder and lip color of your choice.

By the completion of the course the student should have a thorough understanding of the steps and procedures to pass the Alabama board of cosmetology practical exam. The student will go through the proper steps to packing a complete practical exam bag.
