Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is the umbrella of all yoga branches. It is known to be the highest and thorough of yoga traditions. It utilizes meditation, mantra, physical exercises, and breathing techniques. It is best recognized as a Raj Yoga.

It is taught by encompassing the eight limbs of yoga as created by Patanjali, into a extraordinary practice of bliss. “Kundalini” is accurately defined as “the curl of the lock of hair of the beloved.” The metaphor of Kundalini refers to the movement of energy and consciousness that exists within each of us, and enables us to merge with – or “yoke” – the physical self with the universal. Combining individual and universal consciousness creates a divine union, called “yoga.”

Dating back to the fifth century B.C., the Upanishads, had defined Kundalini. However, it had been maintained as an oral tradition, which reaches further back into history then we have known. This sacred science, and the tools provided, was hidden, ...

I had three 90 minute sessions-Diana was wonderful-she is kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. She has a soothing demeanor-her studio is very conducive to meditating. She asks relevant questions and was extremely therapeutic in her approach. She is very intuitive and I feel much better about the things transpiring in my life. I highly recommend Diana-from beginner to expert, my experience was great.

Diana has a calm vibe throughout the lesson. She is very intuitive to what my mind and body is communicating. She has a gift of healing and her soft voice puts you at ease. She describes postures eloquently, and is able to gauge your abilities and go at the appropriate pace with each lesson. Diana provides yoga hand-outs and will give encouraging information for your health and diet. Diana was great at helping me understand things about yoga that I wasn't familiar with, I thought her presentation when I first walked into her class was remarkable. I am very thankful that I have the chance to take her classes. I highly recommend her to new and current students of Kundalini yoga and meditation.

"Movement has always been an outlet for me. A place to escape from the rest of the world and connect to the deepest, truest part of myself."
Lets find the simpleness of breathing and aligning mind, body, and soul together. Natural medicine to relieve stress and anxiety.

About Lindsay
Hey there! My name is Lindsay. I truly enjoy teaching everything in the realm of physical activity. I grew up dancing at Mark Spivaks Institute in Jacksonville, Florida. I studied under a Russian Prima ballerina. I played soccer. I swam. My lifestyle at a young age has reflected in my work as an adult. Nowadays I love yoga, hiking, running, art, and being a big sister! If I have one goal in my professional life it would be to inspire active living in today's youth. I completed my 450 hour pilates certification which compliments my teachings in every field due to the anatomical approach. Currently I work as a dance teacher, pilates instructor, yoga teacher and flexibility coach. My passion for movement will inspire you to achieve your goals. I love to make any positive difference to a client: in their day, in their body, in their out
look. I look forward to meeting you and reaching the finish line- whatever that may be!

I am enthusiastic about teaching online lessons as well. I find that online training works amazingly well, and is extremely convenient for people with busy schedules.

Lindsay is wonderful. She really takes her time to understand what the client both wants out of their workout and needs out of their workout. I love how she always mixes it up and is not afraid to challenge me. Also she’s great in both private sessions and group sessions! Thanks Lindsay!

Lindsay put together mommy and me ballet lessons for my 2 year old and I. We looked forward to our lessons and she kept my daughter engaged and having fun the entire time. Over the course of a year, not only did we have a lot of fun doing ballet together, she actually learned a few basic steps and is comfortable with the rhythm of warming up, dancing, then cooling down. Having Lindsay live online was much better than a video because she interacted with Skye and could adjust the lesson to keep her involved. I enjoyed dancing with my daughter and getting a little stretch and workout in each time as well.

I've been teaching yoga for 4 years and many of my students have gone on to become yoga teachers themselves. Within the first few lessons, you'll learn basic poses, breathing techniques and body awareness, and as time goes on you'll be able to complete more advanced sequences and challenging postures. I specialize in traditional hot yoga, power yoga, restorative yoga and Yin yoga, and have the following tools available for your lessons: blocks, straps and a yoga mat. I have been practicing yoga for many years and became certified as a teacher in the fall of 2016. I am very passionate about how the physical practice of yoga can infiltrate and impact your life outside of your mat. I believe that meditation is also an important aspect of the yogic philiosophy and always encompass meditation into a class I teach. I am also certified in teaching kid's yoga which offers me a wide range of skills and tools to engage clients of all ages and levels.

About Taylor
I am a passionate yogi. I have been practicing yoga for the last 8 years. I am a certified yoga teacher for both adults and children. What I love most about yoga is the principals and skills you learn on your mat are just as applicable in everyday life. I am a deeply empathetic individual and highly sensistive to other people's energies and emotions. Yoga has provided to me a space where I can cultivate my own identity while learning to not consistently take on the emotions of others. However, being a yoga teacher, I find that my sensitivity allows for me to truly connect with my students on a very intimate level. I am able to meet each student where they are at and provide a class that is appropriate both physically and emotionally. The physical practice of yoga often brings up many unconsious emotions, I myself am prone to tear up whil
e in a particular posture simply because past stress or trauma is stored in particular parts of the body. I feel that as a teacher it is my job to guide each student through their practice recognizing and acknowledging each emotion that is brought forward.

I am also committed to the benefits that yoga can offer to everyone no matter their age or ability. I started an after-school yoga program at the elementary school I previously worked at, simply to give my students a safe space to learn about their mind and body connection. Emotions, no matter our age, can be difficult to articulate. If we have a better understanding of how our emotions feel in our body, I believe we have an even greater chance of working through problems an difficulties in our life.

Imagine your favorite yoga video, class or picture. What does it feel like when you are in the middle of a practice or learning something new and you hit a snag? You have a question, but there is no one around to ask. What do you do?

Perhaps, instead, you have a chronic illness or long term injury. Maybe your joints ache, you suffer from low energy or are struggling with anxiety or depression. You’ve heard over and over again how helpful yoga could be for your condition. Your doctor may have even mentioned that it is something you should try, but they couldn’t point you in the right direction.

Still you may be new to yoga. Just the idea of learning the postures, sitting still to breathe or exploring meditation--especially in a group of strangers (gasp!) bring you untold amounts of anxiety.

No matter your physical condition, maybe you feel cut off from that special part of yourself; the part that feels alive and connected to the Source of all that is good and beautiful. It is the ...

I have gone through 2 different yoga trainings during my time in NYC. One with J. Brown and the other with Mark Whitwell. I use my knowledge of yoga during voice lessons, but can also teach yoga separately.

About Areni
I am a professional singer, pianist, songwriter and composer. I love what I do and I also love teaching people and inspiring them.

I laugh a lot and I have been told that my happiness is contagious.

I graduated from UCLA and California Institute of the Arts. I also lived in New York City for 7 years and like to think of that as my doctorate degree in life and music.

I have worked and performed with a number of musicians over the years, touring in major jazz festivals. They include Tigran Hamasyan, Ben Wendel, Nate Wood (Kneebody), Sam Minaie, Alex Cline, Austin Wintory (composer of Journey the video game), Tony Malaby, Michael Gordon, Qasim Naqvi, Ann LeBaron, The Bambir, Artyom Manukyan and many more.

I have recorded for Verve and Nonesuch Records and am releasing my second solo album in 2018!

Although I have most
ly worked in jazz and experimental music, I sing all sorts of styles. I am an in-the-closet Broadway fan, as well as folk, pop and straight up classical art song. I also dabble in background vocals for rock bands sometimes.

I have also done intensive studies in Medieval chant particularly of the Armenian Apostolic church of Istanbul. I love early music!

Looking forward to meeting those who are interested and inspired to work with me soon! :)
