I have used DAW software as Ableton Live, FL Studio, and Linux Multi-Media Studio for several years to create original, favorably reviewed electronic music concepts. While a sizable sample of studio time has been either independent (releases on Pandora, Soundcloud, Spotify) or for multimedia, as E-Learning/Articulate360, the initial impulse was to contribute acoustic backgrounds and creative inspiration for heavy metal bands. I have released several singles and albums on Pandora, Soundcloud, Spotify, ITunes, Amazon, Youtube, and related media outlets. Additionally, I am the recipient of a reader submission reward for a demo considered to be exemplary for the genre. I have garnered over 100K listeners and followers. Essential for a decent command of Ableton Live is to learn both session and arrangement views. We study systematically the task and the art of embedding vocals, instruments, midi, effects, automation, and diverse sound elements for a dynamic ensemble. Your rhetorical ...

Are you struggling with music production? Do you want to take your music producing to the next level? Are you tired of your mixes sounding flat and boring?
Let me help you!
I have over 8 years of experience producing and performing with Ableton Live (currently using Live 10).
Last year, I graduated from Beat Lab Academy's 6-month certification program, which helped solidify my understanding of Ableton, music theory, mixing, mastering, and many other dimensions of music.
Aside from producing music, I play the drums, guitar, and piano; so if you are interested in learning any of those, I will be more than happy to teach you.
Together, we can cover the ins and out of composing, arranging, mixing, mastering, music theory, and whatever else you would like to learn.

My BA from the Berklee College of Music focused on using Ableton as an Industry Standard DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), and using it to produce music in a way that fits you and your style. Lessons on Ableton focus on how to use the program in all aspects, as both recording and production software.
About Eric

I can help to demystify the process of electronic music production for you. The first step is to learn how to navigate the software and execute its functions. The next is to understand the basic elements of electronic music. As we move on we will learn about recording, arrangement, sound design, mixing, and more.

Seriously though, he's so helpful. He breaks down complicated equipment & concepts into understandable pieces.
It also is clear that he's passionate about what he does!
Love lessons with Mark!
Mark worked with me by giving me stylistic feedback and walked me through technical details that gave me the comfort to start DJing my own sets. In this era where distance learning is the norm and virtual broadcasting is getting more commonplace, the work that I did with Mark has allowed me to operate with confidence. I began doing weekly streams (which had rough beginnings!) that became were the basis for work we were doing together.
I would highly recommend someone who needs help getting started DJing and also needs someone to bounce music ideas off of as they're honing in their craft. Thank you again, Mark!

I am a junior attending the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music, where I major in Music Production. I have been producing in Ableton for 6 years, and have been taught by some of the top industry professionals. I believe that I can offer insight into modern music that others can't as I am also a young aspiring artist. I can teach anything from building tracks using MIDI instruments, recording live, manipulating audio, sound design, and everything in between. I will tailor the lessons to each individual student's desires, so we can learn anything you want to!

Hello and Welcome! Teaching creative and expanded use of Ableton is one of my greatest joys. Working on this great DAW since 2015, I utilize it for sound design and composition in genres ranging from concert hall music to hip hop. Ableton is known for being possibly the least intuitive in terms of user experience and I remember well the hours I spent in forums or watching Youtube tutorials to learn the ins and outs of this DAW. Since then, I have developed my own method for teaching it to students and am excited to share with musicians who are new to the world of electronic music, regardless of prerequisite experience.
