I would like to highly recommend Ivan Shallal as a music teacher for children. Ivan is a gifted piano teacher. He is very well-respected in Rochester Hills and Troy, Michigan. This community is extremely fortunate to have a music teacher of his caliber to teach in this area.

Ivan is passionate about music. His love for the art is evident in his enthusiastic and energetic teaching techniques. He is exceedingly patient with all students, encourages them, and coaxes the very best effort from each one. Although he is one of the best music teachers in the zone, his prices are extremely reasonable. In my opinion, he is worth every penny he charges, and I certainly believe I have received excellent service for my money.

It is my great pleasure to recommend Ivan Shallal as a music teacher. I am tremendously grateful to him for everything he has taught my daughter.

Ivan was an absolutely wonderful Piano teacher to my son, who was 3-4 years old at the time. My son had a peculiar way of learning and appreciating music, and Ivan seamlessly adapted to my son’s learning style, engaged with him in a fun but effective dynamic, and taught him skills beyond my expectations! He’s kind, patient and highly skilled as a teacher. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Ivan was the piano teacher for my 3 boys ages 14, 12 and 7 years old for about 2 years. Before Ivan, my kids lost interest in learning and practicing piano. Ivan was able to engage their interest and make them love practicing. He encouraged them to pick music from famous songs or movies which helped to attract their attention. My kids looked at him as a role model. It was a pleasure having him as their piano teacher. He is a great one. It was a big loss for us when he moved out of the state. He is highly recommended.

There is more to a performance then just singing well. It is important to engage your audience by adding real emotion to your songs as well as knowing what to do with your body and how to move with confidence and control. Performing means knowing how to work the crowd and leave them wanting more.

About Laurelanne

I graduated from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA with a BA in Music Education, voice principal. During my years in public schools I taught a variety of age ranges and subjects including kindergarten general music, beginning band, high school chorus, and remedial middle sch

Online Music Performance Teacher

I grew up painfully shy. I loved music, but I thought singing in front of people was some strange form of torture. Over the years, I learned how fun, freeing, and generous it can be to give a great live musical performance. In today's world, Music Performance can include skills to work with GarageBand or YouTube. We figure out how to develop your dream performance opportunities and get you ready for them!

About Rachel

I am a professional musician and teaching artist currently based in Asheville, NC. I most enjoy teaching pop and musical theater voice employing my degrees in vocal performance and training in vocal sciences. I believe in helping every student find their musical and artistic potential.

George, was very patient, kind, and seem very knowledgeable. He seems to understand the pedagogy of teaching to kids and realize they all learn differently. I personally think he went above and beyond for my Son first class and for our first introduction. He offered a more modern approach method of teaching music and Piano to my son who so far seem more receptive in learning and practicing. Will se where that take us but I am very please so far.

She knows what she is talking about and explains thouroughly what needs to be worked on. She not only corrects you but praises you when you have achieved something great. "I can speak to Drew being a wonderful performer, as both a solo artist and in choral ensembles. She has developed a very good stage presence, whether it is on a Saturday night at an East End Louisville Bar, or on Sunday morning at a New Albany church choir. At her young age, she has a good foundation for how a future musician will be expected to conduct themselves to enhance their musical performance career. She is also very blessed with a great gift for her vocal and instrumental skills."

"Jan is a real pro

I have worked with Jan for the last 6 months and she has been a joy to work with. She shares techniques for helping her student connect with the song, so that singing is emotional and not just technical. We've both noticed a real improvement in my singing ability. I highly recommend Jan."

"Wonderful All Around

Jill Good is an amazing music teacher for all ages and can connect with any student on both an intellectual and personal level. I work for Gradoux-Matt Rare Violins LLC and can absolutely assure that the first music teacher we recommend is Jill Good. I've seen her students' recitals and have been astonished at the progress each student shows from one performance to the next.
I started playing the violin at age 4 and while I have loved all my teachers, I still wish I had someone as brilliant as Jill instructing me. For any age, Jill Good is perfection."
