I began learning to DJ through YouTube and Udemy, which helped me slowly make progress, but I knew there were a lot of gaps in what I was doing. This led to a level of uncertainty, from gear choices, to fundamentals and beyond.

So, I decided that if I really want to get good at this, I needed a coach. I wanted to work with someone who wasn't just a teacher, but someone who is successfully doing it themselves, someone that knows the "ins and outs" of being a high-level DJ, as well as the industry.

This led me to taking my first lesson with Dylan. 

My first lesson with him provided a wealth of knowledge and resources that was exactly what I was looking for. The gaps I knew were there, but I couldn't see for myself, became quite apparent in a great way.

I am a LA based artist, dj, and producer and I have performed at over 500 nightclubs, festivals, and events internationally alongside artists like Marshmello, The Chainsmokers, Snoop Dogg, Steve Aoki & many more. I've had DJ residencies with OMNIA, Bassmnt, TAO, and a variety of other hospitality brands and venues. I have 10+ years of experience of DJing and producing, and I have helped hundreds of people learn to DJ and achieve their goals.

I am offering online and in-person lessons for people of all ages and skill levels. Lessons range from basic fundamentals of music and djing to advanced dj tricks and techniques. I will also help you with everything from creating your artist brand to releasing music and getting booked.

My name is Dylan, aka DYLUXE, and I'm a Los Angeles-based artist, DJ, and producer. I am an internationally touring DJ and I have performed at over 500 events, nightclubs, and music festivals worldwide alongside artists like The Chainsmokers, Marshmello, Drake, DJ Snake, Steve Aoki, Lil Baby, Snoop Dogg & many more. 

I am an Ableton & Rekordbox Certified Trainer and a graduate of the DJing and Music Production Masters Program from Dubspot Electronic Music School, as well as a graduate of both San Diego State University and Oxford University. 

I offer one-on-one lessons for djing & music production. I can teach you everything from creating to performing your own music. I have a studio in LA with top-of-the-line equipment and can provide you with everything you will need to be successful.  I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!

Hi! I'm a DJ with 10 years of experience along with being an up-and-coming professional music producer. I've performed at all most major venues in Chicago related to house and techno - Spybar, Primary, Prysm, Arbella, and I have performed with most promoters in the city including Dance Rituals, Auris, among many more. I've founded multiple event promotion labels over the last few years, I currently live between Chicago and Panama City, Panama where perform between both cities and internationally. 

I'm at a junction in my DJ career where I am ready to give back and teach what I know as I grow my own career as a professional artist. I strictly teach house music, centered around the basics of music theory to then progress into how to create the perfect vibe for any party or event. I am a DJ in the Bay Area and I gravitate towards House, Tech House and Deep House genres. I play multiple clubs monthly and large events across the city. I absolutely love music of all genres and enjoy the music scene as a whole. I attended Blue Bear School of Music for my DJ training and I am now at a point where I want to give back to this amazing scene and I figured teaching would be a great place to start! Bio:

Starting with percussion and drum set in the styles of Classical and Jazz at Cuesta College for his Associate in Arts in Music Performance. He then moved to the Inland Empire (Southern California), attending California State University San Bernardino focusing on his Bachalor of Arts in Music with a Minor in Music Technology, and  completing his Master of Music in Music Technology at Southern Utah University. Founder of Zen Samples. He now works with artists for live performances, music production, recording, mixing, and mastering. Some bands played drums on for have been Almost Yellow, Chill Vibes, Half-Past, Imua, and Soul Maps. Drum lessons taken with Mike Raynor, Darrel Voss, Todd Johnson, Justin Scott, and Joel Taylor. Music Technology lessons taken with Scott Vance, Brian Boland, Dan Annderegg, and Michael Reola. 
Zen continues his study’s as an instrumentalist with Ableton Live and Push.
