Ableton is such a powerful tool but can be a bit intimidating when you first start with it. There's an endless amount of possibilities and it can be difficult to know where to even start. I've written and produced hundreds of songs for myself, TV commercials, other artists and songs I've worked on have accumulated millions of plays online. Allow me to share my knowledge with you, both technical and creative. Let's make some great music!
“I have a passion for music and my greatest goal in life is to share that passion one way or another.” Zach P. started his musical journey before he could speak with his father starting his ear-training as a toddler. He’s taught all levels of guitar, piano and voice for several years. H

I teach rapping to beginners, intermediate, advanced, and touring professionals.
During your first lesson I do a computer analysis of your voice, I find out what your goals are in singing, what your favorite kinds of music are, and I take you in the direction you want to go and show you how to get there in the shortest possible time.
I always record my students so that they know how they sound to others. I also make a CD of them singing to background music if they wish, included in the cost of the lessons for no extra charge.

Classical piano is a subject I have taught for over twenty (20) years. As a classically-trained pianist, it has been my main area of focus throughout my teaching and performing careers. If you wish to focus on classical piano, we will cover in-depth music theory during our classes, which is a required component for success in classical piano.
Online-only piano classes are only available to students who have prior experience. I do not recommend complete beginners to start fully online, as there are beginners' nuances that are much better addressed in-person!

Before you can sew your own clothes, create crafts, and take on sewing projects, you have to learn the different kinds of stitches. From the various types of hand stitches to seam finishes, sewing instructor Cathy G. is here to help you master the basics. Modern sewing machines have all but eliminated the need for hand sewing. Gone are the days of constructing a garment by hand with a needle and thread. Still, every seamstress and tailor should have a handle on the basic types of hand s …

Patternmaking for most beginners seems mysterious and intimidating. It is a subject a lot of sewists try to avoid. As a professional working in the fashion industry for more than a decade, I had the same fear as many of you. It took lots of trial and perseverance to overcome challenges, and carve out a successful career. The First Step is to Make Mistakes! Many of my students are worried about making mistakes. They want to be sure every step they take is correct. Multiple attempts and fai …

The energy that my first time sewing students bring to the very first class is wonderful. They are so excited about the creative possibilities that learning to sew will bring them. Often this excitement is tempered by the fear of using a sewing machine. I start by encouraging them to do some easy sewing projects for children, so they can get comfortable with using a sewing machine. It is also a great way to learn some very basic sewing skills. The following projects are quite simple, quick and u …
