Awarded MEAC Annual Panel Examination Evaluator from Music Evaluators Association of California
I have been teaching piano for over twenty years, with many of my students participating in international competitions and regularly receiving state honors from the Music Teachers' Association of California (MTAC). Teaching is truly more than a career for me - it is a passion that guides my interaction with all of my students, no matter their age and skillset.
If in addition to pursuing piano as a hobby, you would like to participate in the MTAC Certificate of Merit examinations and earn credit for your studies, you are more than welcome to do so. As a member of the MTAC, my students boast a 100% pass rate (with the vast majority receiving perfect scores on both the performance and music theory sections).
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Can't wait to meet you! :-)

Students will learn songs they love to play — from any genre — while also developing important skills such as learning how to practice, note reading, rhythm, playing by ear, and technique, as well as songwriting, composing, improvisation, and music theory.
My primary goal as a teacher is to make music lessons a positive, life-enriching experience for my students. Above all, our lessons will focus on reaching your musical potential and goals. Lesson curriculum will cover the practical skills you need in order to develop musical fluency, creativity,
