Kyle is a great piano teacher! He is very patient with my 12-year old son. Just yesterday he referred to him as “fun Kyle” because he teaches him small songs on the side that he can show friends and family or are for upcoming holidays. He’s always punctual and respectful of our family and home. I’m grateful to have found him!

Easy to sign up and Great customer service

My 12 yr old decided he wanted drums for Christmas and we knew that would include getting him lessons. Finding Christian through Take lessons was indeed lucky for my son. If you are looking for a teacher who is calm, level headed, knowledgeable and very easy to contact at anytime then Christian is who you are looking for. He has several students and they all come out happy and feeling good about their lessons. My son, even when not feeling great insist that he attend his drum lessons. compliments to the instructor.

The book I would use to teach 2-mallet marimba is:
Fundamental Studies for Mallets by Percussion master Garwood Whaley. His book series are world renown.
"Modern School for Xylophone, Marimba, and Vibraphone" by Morris Goldenberg is another book I would highly recommend.

Teaching goals are scales, chords, small etudes, and always ask what the students' goals are. I always try to help the student where they are in their current education and performances.

About Kerry

An online Masters Jazz program from University of Arkansas at Monticello, (2018-2019) these studies will help students understand various Jazz, Brazilian, and Afro-Cuban drum patterns. I attended Wright State University for two (2) years studying Music , and then transferred to Belmont Universit

She is very patient and has many creative ways to motivate, engage and work with young children on their level. One of the many things I love most about working with Marci is that she established a relationship with my daughter which helped tremendously in bringing her "out of her shell".
